Electrical Engineers (in my opinion) are much less analytical than software engineers in the pure sense anyway. Where-as you can make a circuit in an fashion most stick to what they know. Software engineers (the good ones) will create a solution that works for the future rather than for the present.

Sorry for the unwary welcome but you have become my arch nemesis TeleportThis. Comp Sci and Engineering here are very competitive. So much so they refuse to use our network system that provides access to the entire university opting instead for their own home grown and dodgy solution.
