passing through here from time to time on my quest.

Hello to all.

I've registered here, there, and everywhere, in search of answers. (Under different names of course - this is a secret mission 8-)

I have a close companion, INTJ, and we share many similar traits. Though I most often type as INTP, I have also typed as INTJ.

I can be driven and relentless in pursuit of my goals. I can also be unplanned and uncommitted to a course of action, prefering to see what fate brings that I can best turn to my advantage.

In my head I am a builder, I design and work with implacable intent toward the realisation of my vision. Yet I prefer open options and spontaniety over routine.

So, what is conditioned and what is innate? What am I?

I would assume you're human, but Guido stands out as a alternative, being a robot.

Anyways, welcome. And don't worry. We already have your IP.

What are you? Where do you fit in? Lol I'm on the same quest.

As best as I can see it we fall through the cracks of the myer briggs personallity types - generally more balanced J/P functions and with me being T/F as well.

What does this mean? I guess it means that you split your cognitive process when you answer a question. Example - I look at a person and read them as an INFJ then I take what I create and process it with my INTJ and conclude with INTP. I see the ultimate goal as being able to run the entire process without splitting the personality without questioning myself that is my goal enlightened state :).

Thanks Tarrick.

I'm pretty sure I'm not a robot, but really, the jury is still out on 'human'. Though I do make some tragically human mistakes, I sometimes make them rather ineptly, other times throw myself into them to see what it feels like to totally screw up. Then I torture myself for not being perfect.

I'm new to the myer briggs stuff, and have wondered at how type results seem to be worn like allegience to a flag. I can picture myself as a mutable citizen of cognitive realms, travelling here and there between functions, tasting them all for flavour. All I can say for certain is I'm an introvert!

Glad to meet you qwerty, had much luck in your quest? I'm a few decades along and still confused. Sounds like I function somewhat as you have described for yourself, and also "fall through the cracks". Is the capacity to switch between primary cognitive functions, and hence 'types', accepted within myer briggs theory? I have lots to learn.

I'm not sure if it's 'ok' to slip between categories but it's the only explanation I can find as even here I can relate to almost everything people are saying but there seems to be some blurring. As far as finding out I'm torn between knowing and discovering. The path to enlightenment is the key to true enlightenment, being told would make it meaningless :).
