If you could bring back 3 people from death for a week each, who would it be and why? I would say Jack the Ripper to see who s/he was and maybe just avoid them for the week. Then someone who was present at the Dyatlov Pass incident to see what the hell happened and to stop seeing replayed. Finally, Vincent Van Gogh, he seems to be a intresting person to know, wonderful artist, get him help and I want to give him a hug and tell him not to kill himself and show him how famous and well known he is now. So what about you?

1) Carl Sagan: I know this is a ridiculous and selfish thing to want, but I would love to get stoned with Carl Sagan and watch Cosmos with him and just discuss the universe.

2) Bruce Lee: Again, I have a selfish reason. He was faithful to his wife, but holy shit was that man perfect. I'd spend the entire week trying to seduce him.

Y'know, I actually don't think I even have a third one. Everyone else can stay dead.

Socrates, Sócrates and Isocrates. We'd all sit down and have a good natter about philosophy, football and the art of rhetoric.

I would bring back Bruce Lee back too life too analize MMA, philosofy with him, make him train people and let him fight in MMA.

Edit: same for Miyamoto Musashi

1. My great grandfather. I only knew him when I was a kiddo. I would like to hear about his life.

2. I young woman I saw die one day. I didn't know her, but her death was sudden and tragic. For all those people who loved her and never got the chance to say goodbye to her, I would bring her back.

3. Mitch Hedberg, so he could write some new stuff.

Not sure anyone would appreciate that I bring them back for a week for my own sake and that they'd actually want to talk to me. But if I play along, I'd like to bring back 4 people, i.e. the parents of my only 2 grandparents, to better understand where the fuck-up in my family comes from.

Blackbeard: To get the location of his lost treasure.

Jesus: Either to debunk the religion or to verify any alleged supernatural power.

Finally, the first creature who evolved into what could be considered human. This last one is mostly for curiosity, and I'd probably hand him or her off to a museum or scientist after my curiosity was sated.

St. Paul to talk theology.

King Solomon to find out what went wrong.

Marilyn Monroe to meet the person behind the image.

Gautama Buddha - For his wisdom and knowledge.
Lao Tzu - I want a nice conversation with him. His Tao is quite interesting as well.
Nikola Tesla for free energy (got this from Polymath20) and many wonderful things (the numbers 3, 6, 9)
Just imagine, Gautama + Lao Tzu for the spirits, morals and Nikola Tesla for his inventions and ideas. Too bad it's not real.

King Solomon to find out what went wrong.

Solomon - that's a good idea. I would add Winston Churchill. Between the two of them, I imagine they'd have some interesting ideas about solving some of the world's problems.

And Chopin. I'd love to hear him play some of his own music.

Aristotle, Spinoza, and Nietzsche.

I'd stick them into a room together and see what happens.

1)Leonardo da Vinci

2)Nicola Tesla

3)Possibly Nietzsche or Marx, not sure which one, but the third would definitely have to be a philosopher of some sort.

Why them? Simple: Because they were illuminated thinkers that saw far ahead of their own time. Without doubt geniuses!! ..I can imagine myself having a tea party with such guests :P ..That would be something like..hmm...an Intellectual Orgasm!!

People don't get it because they don't have his background. It's honestly brilliant and infallible.
