Hey folks!
First of all, I love this site! It's been really interesting reading the posts and thinking "I can relate to that!" So I figured I'd share a little about myself.
I'm a 42 year-old male college administrator/professor. I was first introduced to the MBTI about 17 years ago while I was in the USAF. I came out as an ISTJ...but was never comfortable with that. I would read the description and think "Ewww...that's not me!". Later (after getting out of the military), I took the test again as part of a college class and it revealed my "true" INTJ nature...and it fits perfectly.
Currently I teach in the area of business management and also work with workforce development programs. Not my first choice for a career field, but I get to work independently, do research, create programs...so it'll do....for now! My true academic love are the sciences...especially physics, astronomy, and math.
I refer to the MBTI constantly and it has helped me in many cases...especially as a spouse and parent. My first wife was an ENFP and I have three children...all of different personalities (ENTJ, ISTJ, E/ISFP). Currently I'm married to an ISFJ.
I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge...continually in school for the fun of it. Also I'm a strong advocate for the Introverts of the world!
I'm looking forward to visiting this site often to see what other INTJs have to say!!
