It has come to this INTJ's attention that this forum has too much banter. I was reading a very profound thread when someone's witty remark sparked quite the elaborate tangent. Can't we stick to the subject at hand? I'm reading various threads only to find an entire page worth of usless commentaries before anyone gets back to the point (if at all). Some things don't need to be said! This banter has leaked many INTJ secrets that were never meant to be shared! Our plan of world domination is comprimised, so now we must go back to the drawing board. Everyone meet up at Area 51 at 2100 hours tonight. We will take roll and pass out snacks before reciting the secret pledge. This is also pot-luck, so don't forget your part! Food allergies should be reported to Jezebel to avoid accidental poisonings- let's not have a repeat of last month's meeting! Remember, you will not be let in the lair unless you mention the password. For those of you who have forgotten the password, please tell the doorman your childhood pet's name, and it will be e-mailed to you. Once things get rolling, we can also discuss current issues, such as the previous mentioned overuse of banter. If you have transportation issues, rwyatt is organizing a carpool with his Miata. See you at the meeting.

Heh. You've just leaked out the new location to us INTPs. Be prepared for another failed attempt!
Do witty remarks about the topic also count as banter?
I think you're right, some of us just want to be funny too much. But perhaps there is a physiological explanation for it that we have not yet uncovered. Perhaps we are just being funny to compensate for the lack of "funniness" is real life. Or we just couldn't think of anything smart to say so we had to resort to wit. Who knows... ;)

LOL I think this means I need to work on my humor skills because I was being completely sarcastic by going on a banter myself on that post [smiley=smug.gif] Fixed a errant piece of code

Food! Who said anything about food!
Cinnamon biscuits fall into one of the four major INTJ fuel supplements;
- Sugar
- Caffeine
- Chocolate
- Alcohol
Our ultimate power source is chocolate covered, cream-filled mocha cupcakes soaked in rum!
Mmmmmm

Some people just have to do things the hard way! *::)
So when is the next meeting gonna be? I think this whole "banter-thing" is getting out of hand! I mean, I can abide a few chords, or even a secant or two - but TANGENTS! C'mon!

well THAT was a disaster. All we ended up doing was overloading on cinnamon biscuits, getting drunk off cappucinos, and I ended up fighting a dragon to get my driver's license back! But rwyatt's right. How's saturday for everyone? I'm thinking 5-ish...

In... now 5-ish means 4:45 or 5:15? Either way, I'll be 15 minutes earlier but clarification is a necessity.

Oh, and the Ice Wyrm I brought needs the temperature a bit colder. About 5ºC.
