Hi shellbelle and thanx for your response on the epi/meta thread........

I'll get back with you here on "your page" but first I have some clients to meet with so I might be abit........

........Rand's "philosophy" does have some holes in it but in general I'm an Objective Rationalist. Have never read any of Rand's novels (but have studied her "philosophy") as I genrally don't read novels nor watch movies nor do I play/watch video games.

I believe in Living Life - not sitting on my duff watching someone elses "artistic impression" of it.

.....am much more of a Natural Pantheist - I suppose in the mode of Spinoza and many of the Rationalists who embraced mans oneness with Nature & Reality.

RE: your pre/post hermit refernce to Wittgenstein I had to chuckle at as;.....on a personal note I'm currently in the middle of my "hermit years". ........have been working on my "manifesto" for some time now - compiling data and information.

.........a couple more years and I think the nine month gestation period will be complete to give birth.

........enough for now will elaborate more later.

In a tragic turn of events, shellbelle's introduction was deleted. Unfortunately, I was unable to recover it in its original glory, but luckily its contents was still available via the backspace button.

So everyone, please welcome Shellbelle! And let her know that you're not all idiots like me. (in the meantime, I'll be editing the forum code to move the 'permanently delete' button away from the 'quote' button on the admin template...what moron thought that layout was a good idea? )

Seriously, feel free.
Or rather, hi there. I'm shellbelle, a 20-something college student in Philosophy and English.

Um... I'm awesome?

I guess I'm also an INTJ. When I first online tested myself, I got: INFP, ENFP, ENTP, ENTJ... of course, after a couple tests, you know how to manipulate the questions, and I was very resistant to being a J. However, I accepted my inner J after figuring out how pervasive my know-it-all nature was. I've had my extrovert moments, but my boyfriend can testify to how much I want him to leave me alone. Cheesy And NT follows from my extra-logical, cool-headed personality. Except when I'm in crisis mode, freaking out. Ah, well.

I'm currently procrastinating on something right now that will take about an hour to finish, and that's all the time I have left. So! Adieu for now. Hopefully we will have many long walks on the beach together. Or something like that.

Sort of reminds me of myself "I'm not a know-it all, I'm just always right!" lol.
