Anyone else here enjoy the TV program Eureka? I see that they are starting the next season next week.

I enjoy all the gadgets and inventions that seem to get them in to trouble, I have my DVR set to record this season. Looking forward to it.

My aunt loves the show. Personally, i find it rediculous how inept these so called "geniuses" are presented. All it does is misinterpet excisting and developing technology and perpetuate the common idea that all geniuses are incompetant.

But i must confess when they did that comercial for the snatchit glove I was so intriqued i went online to purchase it (I wasnt really paying attention until it was nearly finished.) and was pissed when i got there and found out it was fake.

That lead me to think the conclusion that if you arrange a high powered circular halbach arrays and place them at one end of a high powered electromagnet, and shield the whole thing with alluminum (or some other non-magnetic metal) filled with water for cooling, you could generate a focused magnetic beam to accomplish the same thing.
