Some people would say it was destiny, other would say it was chance, others will try to construct a model of my behavior in order to show how my actions are related to my previous actions, in any case I found this forum. Then, I asked to myself "why don't you take a peek inside?" At that point I gave myself a few answers

1) I do not find the idea of walking through many unstructured threads that appealing.
2) If the place is really crowded with INTJs, then I will not even have the chance to say something original or give advices.

As soon as I was about to leave the website, suddenly a voice within myself said "wait, you have also a few reasons to stay". Tempted as I was to ignore that voice, I remained and listened to it. It seduced me with the tale of hidden wisdom, with the challenge of growth and acceptance. As the lovely tune hit my ears, my eyes met the ugly stare of the forum's advertisements. Suddenly the dream was broken, and I feared the trap of the siren. I was about to run away from the treacherous seas. But no, not again, I could not leave the humble priests teaching the words of the gods, just because they were asking for a few coins in return. After all, the seed of knowledge grows from every word and experience.

Suddenly, I found myself logged in the forum. To my horror, I could not find the link to the forum's topic list. A bewildering feeling of being cheated overcame me. As I explored the maze, I gladly found a door of introduction. There, I engraved my message, in the hope they could allow me in and give me a map of the place.

Hello and welcome! I've made the mistake of posting in the craigslist "art" forum and requesting email notifications of replies. The replies I've received from supposed "art lovers" in the general public are terrifying- causing me to flee to the retreat of this forum.

Naturally, the title of your post caught my eye.

I know, not everybody has the time to stop and look at an artistic work from every angle and uncover the hidden metaphors of colors, the encrypted messages of the lines or just your intuition about the world. Other times, they may just not have the words to express their opinions in an satisfying way for the artist. So much work and training is needed to be a reviewer. Nevertheless, one does not need great experience to appreciate some details of an artistic work. The feedback may not help you improving your style, but look at the bright side. You provided them with new experiences which may help them to understand the world better in the future. Isn't this the purpose of an artistic endeavor? to inspire people toward a better understanding of reality?

You're a romantic. The comments were not that deep or beautifully phrased. They were all yelling at me to not post links.

Maybe you could give some advice for new people on how to search for threads with cool pictures to link to Social Media sites without giving credit to original authors ?

Hello.

It is possible to make the advertisements go away. I'll bet you didn't know that, did you?

I would tell you how, but I only deliver bad news: news that puts bliss just beyond your cringing fingers...

Wait, that's not true at all! I would love to tell you how to get rid of the ads... and it won't cost me a cent:

Welcome, we almost lost you there. But you came back even before you left us.

I really have no idea what ads you guys are talking about.

Are they made of pixels only 100+ IQ people can see?

I bought some pixies in a box. The pixies were completely visible. It was ASTONISHING!

They sort of looked like hobos. And, uh, they were in a boxcar rather than a box per se... it was great until they left for Hoboken.

^^ oh said Hoboken, thought he said Hadoken. I once bought some Hadokens but they were totally out of control AND visible, which is bragable.

Isn't this the purpose of an artistic endeavor? to inspire people toward a better understanding of reality?

realities...my primary purpose as an artist is to avoid the intense personal discomfort that comes when i am not creating, or at least devising strategies and taking action that will lead to creating...i am not sure how much control i have regarding the effect my creations have on people, the others in their world, and i don't believe i should concern myself too much with control...i think the test of true art is whether or not it actually has provocative energy and a presence that becomes independent of the artist, regardless of what the effect may be

i move around INTJforum personality to personality, rather than by a systematic survey of topics...personality has value, while the topical scheme of things here is just a necessary bow to structure
