If you were making your own personalized bumper sticker, what would it say?

i seen one the other day. it said, "It's better to have LOVED AND LOST than to live with a PSYCHO the REST OF YOUR LIFE" ... i was wondering if the person made that up or not

i've seen some pretty good ones out there. and now i'm just wondering... what would YOURS say?

Mine would say "Thank God I am Atheist". I always laugh a little every time I see a shirt with that.

Hmmm...

This is not a bumper sticker
Boogers are fun
Don't look now
Honk if you're tailgating me
If you can read this stop reading this

That's enough for now.

I saw I good one that I wanted. "Do like Ford, buy Volvo!" but in Swedish ofcourse.

i would make mine read "CAUTION: Sudden Stops for Tailgaters!", and in one of those yellow traingle things too...

"Die, please." or "Please die."

"Die, please." or "Please die."

I can relate to that. I hate it when you go to play Monopoly and there aren't any dice.

"Die, please." or "Please die."

And the "please" was a nice touch.

I'd like one that says: "Honk if you're stoopid".

But this would happen only in my mind, because I wouldn't be caught dead with a real bumper sticker on my car.

Me, too. I try not to have my car stick out at all -- no stickers, personalized plates, things hanging off the rearview mirror.

"where did you learn how to drive? Norfolk, Virginia?" << i think only military would get that one though, as Norfolk is a military concentrated city with people from all over the country and all kinds of different driving skills... some better than others...

"2nd place is 1st place Loser"

"If you see taillights, you're falling behind"

Like some others, there is no way in hell I would have a bumper sticker on my car. But if I was going to, I might have one of those little fish that have feet and say "DARWIN".

Cool. Then mine would say, "Oops, I didn't mean to do that. I was just being an N."

I thought about something like that, but I fear the amount of parking and speeding tickets I get would go up drastically.

Yes, plus the car itself is practical, unobtrusive and low on the list of cars favoured by hijackers. We don't like to draw attention.

That's why a sticker like "You, sir, are the antepenultimate person I want up my tailpipe - kindly back off just a smidge" will never be a big seller.

Car thieves love practical, unobtrusive cars. ;)

Lol. Thieves typically like popular cars because the parts are easily traded. If bumper stickers and such helped, insurers would probably give you a discount.

I'll take what comfort I can in not making the top 10 list.

Meanwhile, I could try to bluff them with a bumper sticker: "Hijackers will be huggled".

That will stop 2% of the population, anyway...

I was referring more to "practical, unobtrusive cars" than the bumper sticker thing. Civics, Accords and Camrys are practical cars.

The best bumper sticker I've ever seen went something like this:

"My car is a status symbol, it means I'm poor."

Not necessarily. It depends what they're used for. Get away car, smash and grab whatever.

That's what I meant by "typically." Car thieves typically steal to sell, steal what's popular (because of greater demand for parts). Given X number of cars stolen each day, there are relatively few stolen for getaways and such vs. those stolen for parts. That's why the stolen-car models from insurers are consistent over the years.

Wolf, back to your topic: Maybe one that says, "Car thieves' bodies are in the trunk. There's room for one more."

How about:

WARNING: contents under pressure and explodes on contact

I know a few people who should be carrying this one... :bomb:

I too would never actually put a bumper sticker on a bumper. I have a small but growing collection of various stickers, not sure where I'm going to use them, but they will not be applied to any surface on my vehicle. Anyways:

Health Insurance is for Chumps
I Heart Ben Gunn
Powered by Improbablity

Written underneath a crudely drawn picture of a guy riding a desk
Cubicle Jockey

Written underneath a picture of a car made out of Legos
My other car is customizable.

My favorites:

"Visualize Whirled Peas"

"I want to die peacefully in my sleep like Grandpa did... not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car."

"Very funny Scotty: now beam up my clothes."

Eh well. I just want to get one that says "This is a bumper sticker."

Most drivers I encounter would probably have to take a remedial course to understand it...

"If you can read this, I can slam on the breaks and SUE YOU!"

I saw this on a bumper sticker years ago.

My personal favorite: "My pet parrot is smarter than your honor roll student"

I saw that one 2 years ago.

Once I saw a real bumper sticker that read, "Orgasm donor."
