I am an INTJ.

The End :P

quick notes:
gender: female
age: 20
education: in college
major: chemistry
activities: varsity tennis
hobbies: riding horses whenever possible, hanging out at the stable and just watching horses graze. I get inner peace and relaxation that way. I like to feel close to nature - horses get me there. I read, I love to learn random other things, mainly science/tech based, however I'll find random other things that pique my interests. I'm naturally very curious.

I want to go towards the inorganic side of chemistry and have an environmental focus - as in green chemistry OR contributing to research in alternate fuels or ways to make those alternate fuels in a green fashion - i.e. making hydrogen without burning fossil fuels to make the electricity to drive those electrons (perhaps via solar power - using photosynthesis as a model)

Though I'm a rather timid, and introverted person, I have a lot of thoughts going on and I'm not totally serious. I do have a sense of humor. It is strongly based on sarcasm and somewhat dry. And now I'm getting to laugh at the groaners of the science joke world....oh i have a tendency to go off on many tangents. And even tangents off of tangents (though yes I realize that's not mathematically realistic, let's just pretend those tangents shot me off onto another circle which I then went on another tangent off of...)

um yeah that's about it.....my life is tennis and academics....i'm *thoroughly* enjoying not really having anything to do tonight as far as school work goes though I'll probably start some tomorrow....

Welcome again, thegnat. Glad to have you as an addition to our community, I just hope you have time to post! You sound busy. Do you own any horses yourself?

Welcome again, thegnat. Glad to have you as an addition to our community, I just hope you have time to post! You sound busy. Do you own any horses yourself?

I am busy. I will have time to post because I need study breaks to stay sane haha. I can't just study in a quiet room for hours on end. Yes I can get focused - but only for about an hour or two max, then I need a little break, then I have to go at it again....but on the normal homework I have to kind of multitask to get things done. I have kind of strange study habits but I get things done.

I do own a horse - he's in West Virginia though at the family farm and I live in Ohio.....and I'm too poor to bring him up here. He's taken care of well and I try to visit him as much as possible - which unfortunately isn't that much. However I'll get to visit him in November and now that I have a big enough girth to fit him.....I can ride him in my own saddle and bridle :) I'm so excited to see him.

And he's not the horse in my Avatar, I just like that picture. And he's not posting :P hehe. His name is Thunderbolt, a half-Egyptian Arabian and 1/4 Dutch Warmblood, 1/4 Thoroughbred....His dad got in the pasture with his mom - he was kind of an accident haha. So my grandpa gave him to me when I was 9. He was bay (brown with black mane and tail) when he was born so I named him Thunderbolt instead of Lightningbolt (my 9 year old logic hehe) - he changed colors and grew to be a beautiful 11 year old grey horse now.

Thanks again for the welcome! This community makes me feel like I'm not alone in my strangeness haha, seriously, it looks like a great community...But as Karl Lagerfeld said "I don't like standard beauty - there is no beauty without strangeness." From Quotable Equine.
