Hi there. I'm never really any good at introductions, I prefer to just cut to the chase. Anyway, I'll have a go.
OK, I'm a 21 year old female currently studying for a degree in TV Production. I first found out about Myers-Briggs a couple of months ago when my tutor recommended I take it. I had just been 'sacked' from a work experience placement at a television company for what they called "looking uninterested" which translates as being quiet and shy. So, here I was feeling like a complete reject. I took the test and found out that (shock, horror!) I was actually quite normal (well, normalish ;) ). Since then I've begun to understand myself so much better and it was in researching all this that I ran across this site on Google.
So, here I am. Nice to meet you all.

Hi!
I'm new here too, but just wanted to welcome you. Take a look around and dive right in. So far everyone seems waaaaay too friendly for a bunch of INTJs.
And as for normal(ish)...we can keep telling ourselves that. Really we can. *

Hi. Thanks.
Yeah, I'm slightly suspicious by how active this forum is. When I've visited similar groups on Facebook it's been like one post a month!

Bad at introductions, eh? I think we can relate to that.
Welcome!

Yeah, we do have a suspiciously chatty bunch of INTJs here... we somehow managed to rack up over 4,000 posts in our first month. *:o

Well, it appears to have been created at the beginning of September. So I guess we've all just been desperate for an outlet where we don't have to put on an act, or dumb down our responses. Where we can get in depth and (hopefully) not have juvenile one-liners totally derail a fun conversation.
We'll see. I'd love to see it stay this active, but who knows what time will bring.

I can't even begin to tell you how many jobs I didn't get because I wasn't quite "friendly" enough for the interviewers liking.
Anyway, welcome to the forum.

We are very chatty because online our E's are coming out, lol. So more talking then being kept silent. It goes to show, there is alot of things to say, but who do we speak it too.

Spending a lot of time chatting on forums is actually a very introverted activity, imo. Extroversion is about more than socializing...forums don't have all the external stimuli so they are far less draining.

I can agreed to that. E is so draining, I give it try gave up really easily.
