Well, I'm athenian200. Hopefully I'm not intruding, but I'm here to learn more about INTJ's. I want see how Ni expressed through Te is similar and different from Ni expressed through Fe. As you may have guessed, I've been spending a lot of time researching MBTI theory... all I've found for certain is that there's no consensus on how the theory should applied to individuals, which is kind of frustrating.

Anyway, I'd like to note that I really like the interface on this site, it's particularly informative and clean. I applaud whoever chose to use this software... most other forums go with PhBB or vBulletin, but this looks interesting, and the pages load quickly.

So, about me:

I spend a lot of time surfing the Internet, reading books, and configuring my computers. I have a problem with Microsoft's domination of computing, so I use Linux most of the time. I have a rudimentary knowledge of C and HTML. I've been studying MBTI theory for about three years now.

Welcome! No, not intruding at all. We have a few INFJs here now and it's interesting to see the differences and similarities between the INTJs. Always pleased to have another MBTI enthusiast aboard.

Ni would be an INTP's 6th (Senex/Witch) function in Beebe's model. It might just be Ne turned inward. AFAIK, Ni should be a semi-unconscious function for INTP's. I'm pretty sure Fi is mostly unconscious for me, for instance.

What model are you using that would enable an INTP to have a developed and conscious Ni? Did you create your own in the midst of all the variants available? If so, I would be interested in studying it.

Of course, you might just be one of those people who defies categorization. But darn it, there are so many of them...
