Right, just watched the movie August Rush and besides the romantic side which doesn't appeal to me, I really enjoyed the idea of the movie. The music was an interesting blend and the way that music was displayed as something that is alive. I know that not all of the story is believable but who else has seen it and what do you think of it?

Absolutely loved it. My INTJ friend actually talked me into watching the movie. He loved it too. We both felt that it was a movie of hope.Sinc we work in a library, we compared it to and felt that it had similarities with, Oliver Twist... only to music. The music was by far the best part of the movie, although I will admit I think Jonathan Rhys Myers is adorable!

Music is something that over comes so many barriers . I kept re-playing the dualing guitars and August's Rhapsody. Brilliant music.

I agree whole heartedly! The music was brilliant and touching. I was happy to find out that an artist I love was involved with the music for the movie. John Ondrasik, from Five For Fighting, is incredible. I was glad that the movie touched on so many different genres of music. I think that was a draw for those who might not otherwise view a movie like that.

Certainly a crazy, eclectic blend of music and I certainly would recommend the movie to anyone that hasn't seen it yet.

I loved it, but then I seem to like most movies that deal in music such as Mr Holland's Opus, or Crossroads and to many more to mention.

I loved it so much I bought it at full price the day it came out in DVD. I rarely do that. I also downloaded some of the music.
It really spoke to me.

It does have a ' universal' language doesn't it? I can't get the people at my work to watch this movie. Very dissappointing, as I see it as such a good movie. But then again maybe they aren't the kind of people that this movie can speak to.

I watched it three times on various planes I was traveling on. I connected with the music and the passion/drive that was in it. I also liked the notion that people are linked to each other in more ways than the obvious.
