View Full Version : Konnichiwaa! Hello...
Hello my name is Alex. Currently 18, though I tested INTJ back in middle school on those personality test, and still continue to test INTJ. I am a college freshman planning a double major in mathematics and physics. Hoping to be able to transfer in two years to MIT. Apart from math and physics I enjoy psychology and history, but hate english courses or anything strict on writing, spend to much time thinking if what i am writing is good and end up usually running short on time. And my close friends call me insane at times for my obsession with math and overthinking things.

Aj, not to shock you when you transfer into another college or university; you will definitely be one semester or a year behind. Hey, I am not the one who set up the game, "You are the one who have to play around it." It sux really, but don't worry because many transfer students feels the samething :)
Lol. Thanks. I should mention I don't know any japanese, I just like using konichiwaa lol. However I can imitate what I think to be an asian language quickly, enough to fool those gulible enough to think I actually speak japanese. I am bilingual but just in English and Spanish. My spanish however is not so good, which surprises people because I'm hispanic and my parents speak spanish.

Yea :( My advisor told me that. Hopefully I don't start so behind considering I'm in an honors college program and taking 19 credits this semester and 20 credits in the spring.

Heads up, then just make sure all your core circumculm is full and in check. The rest is for you to decide. For me it all have to do with balance and no kidding; Hard, Easy, Mediocre. If you follow this INTJ pattern, then it saves your life of grief and regret. INTJ's hates gossip, but this is an advantage for INTJ's and start turn your ears on. Which professor is worth taking and who is not? This will lead your path into a less conflicting scenario. Will you hit into bumps, forks, conflicts? Of course you will, but its not all that bad INTJ's can adapted to it. If I can make it, so can you. Good luck :) Incase, you feel like to let out some steam there is a section in here, for you in INTJ; Sense of Humor.

Just your ploy to get people to read your thread huh?!
If you want to use Japanese words... learn Japanese.
But physics majors are cool, so I forgive you.
Welcome to the forum! ;D

Welcome AJ! Yay! Another science nerd! (I say that with all respect as I'm a chem nerd :) )

You'll be *technically* one semester behind.
*however* you'll be able to complete your degree(s) in 4 years. If I can do it with chem you can do it with math and physics. math and physics overlap anyway.
(I transferred after my freshman year)
And heck, I could have double majored in Area Studies Spanish and Chem or done environmental studies and Chem within 4 years.
however I chose not to do Spanish because I hated my prof and I want to have an easier year next year for once and perhaps allow myself time to do another research class and take all the chem classes I desire without over-loading :)
Oh - I was one semester behind because my gen eds didn't transfer. My math and science did. Which is what mattered.
Or maybe he (?) DOES know Japanese and is pulling an INTJ "joke" on us all! ;D
Welcome AJ. Buenas dias (and no, I don't know Spanish...or do I :-? )
But since when do INTJs say they don't know something when they really do?
We may make no comment, but we don't deny... right???
Meh...
Spanish is a fun language. I tried to learn Latin on my own. It didn't work out very well... So I may pick up Spanish instead
