Hi all,
I stumbled onto this from a guitar forum (go figure) and I'm pleasantly surprised to find so many INTJ brethen! I'm from Singapore but currently doing a postgrad course in Manchester, UK. The MBTI description fits me almost to a T and it would be interesting to find out how other INTJs live life as well as understand more about my own. Browsing through the threads I already see quite a few topics that strike close to home and I'm looking forward to discussing the finer (and not-so-fine) points of the personality we have been blessed/cursed with.
Cheers.

Welcom to our little piece of the 'Net.
Who's your favorite guitarist (besides yourself!)?

Well I don't think my music would be to the liking of most here, if the music appreciation thread is anything to go by...but I've got some songs on http://www.myspace.com/victorchenblues anyway.
My favourite guitarist? I never considered myself in the running for that title ;D
Being mainly a blues player, the ones that really influenced me are Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, Junior Watson, BB King, Albert King, Elmore James, T-bone Walker, Hound Dog Taylor....geez I could go on forever...
My non-blues favourites would be Danny Gatton, Don Rich with Buck Owens, Keith Richards with Ron Wood (Rolling Stones), Joe Pass, Django Reinhardt, Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Angus Young (ACDC) and probably a lot more.
As you can probably guess, I don't care much for 99% of what's on the airwaves these days. An INTJ trait perhaps? 8-)

Don't let the music thread throw you. I appreciate the blues, some of my fav's in that genre are; Freddie King, Muddy Waters, and Robert Johnson. I even like some of the early Fleetwood Mac stuff. Non-blues guitarists would include some of yours plus Carlos Santana and Jimi Hendrix.
+1 on the "airwaves" stuff, I never listen to broadcast radio these days.
