Wow! Has anyone else been listening to Radiohead? I am right now. It's one of the favorite bands of my ENFP buddy, and, while I took note of his liking them, I didn't really get into them myself at the time. I've just gone back to listening to them, and wow.I really like them!

Which albums are you talking about? I've got them all, but when I was younger preferred OK computer.

Now its Kid A that I think is my favourite, but every new album they release is absolutely awsome. Put In Rainbows and its CD 2 on straight, with the speakers cranked up full! That should put a smile on your face!

The band is my favorite. What bothers me about some bands is that you may as well only have 3 or 4 of their songs, because once you get the band's "feel" all of them sound the same.

Radiohead on the other hand has moved from Brit Rock with Pablo Honey to Electronica with Kid A to a more balanced form with In Rainbows. They keep their music interesting without losing their identity, which is largely established by Thom Yorke's voice.

<3 Their musical development over the years is fascinating to me. Plus they just sound so damn good...

They're very good, but I liken them to Pink Floyd of a different era. Too weird for me. I don't like music that is weird for weirdness-sake.

My 3 favorite Radiohead songs are probably Karma Police, High and Dry, and Creep. 2 of those would be considered "mainstream".

Still, I agree that their talent far-surpasses that of most (if not all) modern bands.

I'd class all those as main stream, and if you haven't listened to any albums after OK Computer, you're missing out on their best work. I think they get better each album, and are never just repeating what they did on a previous album.

Incidentally, I'd say the band as a whole had INTJ traits - fairly introverted, perfectionistic, self-critical, judgemental to an extent. I also get the feeling from their lyrics, that they're annoyed that people can't see things for what they really are, and that they're trying to highlight this or at least have their say. I know they're a bit political, but this isn't in any way a 'selling point'. They don't need that (just look at their In Rainbows sales, and thats not as political an album and it was free). I think they just make music about the things that matter to them, and as long as it meets their exceptionally high standards, they're happy.

In my view, Radiohead are simply the most original and talented band on the planet today, and I should try to see them more (I've only seen 2 live shows!).

Whats everyone else think? Also, anyone like to hazard a guess as to the MBTI type of the band members, or the band as a whole?

Radiohead used to be my favourite band for quite a while. Still love them, especially after I saw them live this summer.

By the way, I love Amnesiac. Horribly underrated album :)

I'm totally crazy about Radiohead. I think my favorites albums are OK Computer and Hail to the Thief...the first song I ever heard of theirs was Subterranaen Homesick Alien and I was hooked about 1 minute into the song. Loved them ever since.

I had the great pleasure of seeing them in concert when they were at Blossom last year...best concert of my life.
