Yes we can!

Do what?

Wouldn't it be more empowering if it was "Yes, I can."?

Lol mood killers!

Anyway, change society for the better. [Expects: How?]
I'm not running for president, Obama is. I know a lot of his policies but I can't list every exact change.

No, "Yes, I can," suggests you are alone facing a challenge. It is much more uplifting if you are with a group of people tackling a problem. I find "we" much more empowering, and really being a loner has few benefits besides the ones an individual conjures.

Hope I answered about 3 potential posts right there.

I wasn't trying to kill your mood. I was very excited when I received my Goldwater in '64 shirt. So I know the feeling. It's just the "yes we can" always bothered me. Because it implies that we need government to help us, and that it is essential to survive.

But by all means, enjoy your shirt! Don't let my opinion get you down.

If you ever want to find a topic people will definetly disagree with you on, pick politics ;)
Personally, since Ron Paul is out of the race, im hoping a meteor hits the other two at a debate so we can reach back into the hat.

Haha, no worries, still as happy as ever. I get what you mean, but still its fun to be on the bandwagon sometimes. =)

So is the voting process based on who can mass-produce and disseminate the most campaign apparel, now?

(It would still make just about as much sense as the current process.)

No merchandise, but my bookie let me place a bet on Obama winning the Primaries with some favourable odds. Go Obama... make me rich! ;-)

Why stop at T shirts. He should distribute Obama sperm (1 freeze dried sperm per supporter in a cedar wood box) so you can have Obama babies. Call yourself a believer, pah (sound of contempt and disgust).

Are you one of those bitter middle class white people from the midwest? :wiseguy: I view the "Yes we can" differently than you. I see it as implying, "We the People." It's a challenge to the people sitting around doing nothing waiting for the Government to do something. We can, not the Government can.

I am white and from the Midwest, but I don't own any guns, although I view it as my right to do so. I also don't cling to religion. I do cling to the idea of small government, and I am quite bitter about the expansion of the government.

If what you say makes you happy than ok. I bought a sticker because Obama instills me with a measure of optimism but I also like Shephard Fairey's artwork.

A T-shirt doesn't do anything for me but to each their own. What's your gripe really? It's not exactly slactivism like silicone bracelets.
