Like all things shown on a profile, aren't these informational in purpose?
Thus far I haven't noticed anything additional.

AZMaybe I shouldn't be answering this since it isn't my forum, but it's just a way of networking on the site. You add members to your friends list and send them invitations to be friends with you as well. It doesn't really serve much of a purpose as far as I can tell.

You could use it as a dating site.
By the way, are the emoticons going to come back?

I think I'll try to create a cyber army with this new technology.

Oh, no, I know they still work, but the little box next to the box where we type our posts is not presently there, at least not for me.

Are we declaring War on each other???
it's on!
*sigh* I fear we'd both become so annoying they'd kick us out though.

You are wise, we should remain allies.

That's a fine answer, Danisty. As of right now, it doesn't do much. It can be used sort of like an address book, as you have a list of one click access to PM members or see whether or not they're online. I think there are some new features in vBulletin that can be made 'friends only', such as albums. I will be playing with the feature a bit more to see what else I can get it to do.

I just didn't want to mention that because it's your decision to install these things and I didn't want to put any pressure on anyone by mentioning them.
