When's your birthday.
Some crazy girl keeps preaching about horoscopes to me and how they are undeniably correct. I think they're a crock of shit.

yeah, she's so full of shit. She says I act like her brother, but only says it because we're both libra's. Personally I've never met this brother of hers and she avoid bringing him around just because it'll disprove her bullshit.
But I thought I'd humor myself and see how far apart INTJ's are in birth signs for the hell of it.

I know what you are talking about and came out to this conclusion: is impossible to deal logically with somebody who believes illogic things.
I had a girlfriend who even told me "we should make love on april so our childs can be capricorn" I was like WTF!=!?!?!? :stunned:

Well, any kind of information through zodiacs is NOT scientifically proven, so it is illogical, as mentioned.
There's another thread about zodiacs and mbti btw, here it is: To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
The votes are evenly spread, so you can tell that there's not so much correlation between mbti and astrology at all.

The balance in voting and the vagueness in decription of zodiac traits makes me happy. But still irritated that people who don't know what they're talking about try to bs about it to this day.

Well there is no much chance to succeed at making someone change their views, especially if they are close-minded.
Not caring at all would be imo the best thing you could do about it;)

March 10 so that makes me a Pisces
When it comes to astrology of what will happen on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis I don't believe on it... I read it out of curiosity but whatever it says never happens
When it comes to the astrological description of my sign, I would say that many aspects of what they say personality wise tend to apply to me to some extend. I find it somehow fascinating when there is something whether it is a writing, a song, or just someone describing aspects of my personality and life without me having to say anything...
But that's just me...

This poll is really about conception and birth, not personality traits. ;)

Wrong again, Flanders!

You know, the signs are all off by one. Because Earth has a slight wobble, we're no longer aligned with the same constellations in the sky.

Don't let a little thing like that get in the way.

This is why birth charts exists, they are supposed to take an exact picture of the main stars at the time of one's birth so one can spend some time studying the interactions between all of theese stars and not only the sun or/and the ascendant locations.
The main idea has been the same for me for some time now,ie whereas I do find some accurate descriptions sometimes, practically more or less of the traits can be applied to quite anyone else, no matter their sun sign or anything.
Study chinese zodiacs, most characterestics are found in many zodiacs there. However chinese zodiacs up to now have been for some reason quite accurate in relationships. There are sites out there that calculate compatibilities and such, and sometimes I am astonished by the accuracy. Even though not downright reasonable, lots of what they say can be true. It might just be coincidence however, or plainly similar descriptions that can pretty much apply more or less to anyone. Chinese zodiacs aren't as clear as western ones but in relationship things they can be more accurate than western ones in my opinion.
Generally any time I spend reading astrology-related stuff is mainly for entertainment purposes as well as to conclude on whether there is some correlation/basis to it or none at all.
What one must not do is to believe in zodiacs to an extent where they make them preoccupied about others and their possible relationships with them, this is bad because in such cases the relationship will usually end up turning bad merely because someone has been thinking from the first place that they would not make it at the end. I have seen many different sun signs go on pretty well (I'm included here too) and also many similar sun signs not going well at all (well, I am included and in this one, actually) despite the match of the suns. An astlrologist will say that this is because even if their suns did not match, their other start did matched, so that's why they made it and vice-versa. Some people say that astrology must not be taken too seriously at all, and I will agree with the latter.
Entertainment,yes.
Counselling, no.

There are many people who can't cope with the idea of Global Warming. Just because they don't research about it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I think there is something (not much) to what you are like based on what time of the year you are born. Just like each generation has similar characteristics but on a bigger scale. But it isn't as scientific as say physics either.
