What's your favorite late-nite snack? Right now I feel like having a gooey fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie... but I had chicken broth instead ;D. It's just a better option at this hour. Do you snack late? Any suggestions? What's your favorite?

saltine crackers, and milk perhaps if available those cans of instant meal replacement (although a bit weird since it's so thick).

I've also tried gold fish and water but it didn't digest well.

Pork flavored ramen, and its salty goodness.

I crave carbs, but try to eat a moderate amount of protein, instead. Otherwise, I wake up famished in the morning; since I rarely eat breakfast (very little breakfast food appeals to me), being hungry at work is an issue, especially if I don't have any pecans or cashews stashed away in a drawer for a quick healthy snack.

Having said that ... my ultimate late night indulgence is ice cream. Which I had last night.

Shame on me.

There is no shame in ice cream.

I had almond amoretto cheesecake last night.

Hmm... my cravings are mainly during the day... I have manage to stop eating after 9PM... and if I do eat is rare and due to the fact I had no time to eat dinner on time..

but if I did eat it would probably be something light such as a salad or fruits... I'm trying to loose weight... and eating late night does not help

When I snack (twice a day--once around 2pm, and once around 10pm), it's an all-out thing. I'll usually have something like a bowl of chex-mix, a slice of some sort of cake, and a bowl of ice cream. Or maybe a bowl of banana chips, half a dozen cookies, and a bag of hot fries. Or maybe a bowl of salsa (and half a bag of tortilla chips), a bowl of combos, and a couple glasses of milk.

And before you make assumptions on my weight--I exercise frequently and have a great metabolism. 5'5", 114lb.

It's either that or I have hyperthyroidism.

Can you sell some of that metabolism to me? :undecided:

I'm trying....

Actually, I'm underweight for AFROTC. I've been trying to gain weight for a couple months now (hence the bad eating habits) but it hasn't worked out so well. I wasn't joking about hyperthyroidism. D:>

I snack late at night...

Chips, pop, cheerios (in milk of course)... those are the normal selections.

I eat the fattiest foods and still don't gain weight. I don't care about my weight, but I suppose its good I'm light. (115 lbs)

Just finished a pack of emtpy calorie banana and plantain chips with a freshly brewed herbal tea. Stupid before bed but, hey, it was yummy.
