Anything at all, I've noticed that with most INTJs something drives them [for me it is the quest for knowledge, always knowing more, but I'm not an INTJ (as close as I come up to one in tests...)], it never really is a family member, like with NFs I have talked to, it's usually something they want to overcome.

But I could always be wrong :D.

So what drives you in life? Is it the good things you get when you finish a project? The self-satisfaction? Or something else entirely?

Success (or stability) and utilitarianism for the most part.

satisfaction in living, understanding things, mastery-doing things well, eliminating boredom, some desires and interests, finding the best way, solving problems, some idealism....

I live to be competent in my chosen fields (I have very high standards for myself), present my ideas to the world, and laugh at what humanity does next.

So what drives you in life?

A Toyota Corolla.

In a weird way, that's a completely honest, if somewhat esoteric, response on my part. In another way, it's just a smartass remark.

The response doesn't really do anything to me, if it does it for you, good show and good driving! ;D

Determination for learning more, for mastering those intellectual skills requiered for that knowledge, making my visions for the world come true, and a non-materialistic ambition for success on what I plan or do.

Yeah, I can be annoying that way. :p

I like being a smartass, for one thing. And I don't like answering questions like this directly if doing so could lead to closing the book on me or boxing me in, as opposed to opening up the book or the box that is me. I guess I might say that those two traits are a big part of what drives me.
