Please help me shrink photo for avatar

I am incapable of getting my photo the correct size for an avatar. I've noticed many suggestions in the posts I am reading, however, since I just joined today and have no posts - I can't see any of the links that my help me.

I need more information. What program are you using?

I tried photoshop but using the crop feature got me the 115 but the other side is at 151 and when I slightly drag it, it goes to 142 which is too small. It is also too big size wise. If anyone is willing, I'd happily email it to them for shrinkage.

If you want to shrink the whole image in Photoshop, you can go to Image > Image Size and change it from there. OR if you want to use the crop tool instead (so you don't warp the picture or anything) you can set it to only crop the size you want...when you're in the crop tool you can look at the top of the screen and there should be a spot where you can input the width and height you want. It'll only move the cropper in increments of the numbers you selected.

Alternatively, you could upload your image somewhere (such as Imageshack (http://imageshack.us/)) and post the URL (referred to as the "direct link" in Imageshack's case) in this thread so someone here can resize it for you.

First row is CROPPING
Second row is RESIZING
Third row is changing CANVAS SIZE
