Well yesterday was such a nice day, in the morning it was a nice cool 15 degrees C and it went up to 18 around noon. Perfect day to go for a cruise on my mountain bike and check out this chocolate factory that I'll starting to work at later tonight. I'm gonna ride my bike there, it's only a 30 minute ride and once I'm in shape again it won't be more than 15 minutes.

There is a few really big hills and I had to put it into the lowest gear just to make it up, I didn't walk the bike up the hill because I'm to tough, sure my legs were on fire but I made it up, going down the hills I had to use the breaks a bit because I'm not sure how good the tires are and I don't want a blow out at 60km/h on my first ride of the year.

I wake up this morning and my butt is sore, so sore I'm a little nervous sitting in the chair and I know I just have to get used to it but thinking about the bike and how sore my butt is now, how's it gonna be when I get on it again tonight, I had to go downstairs and have a sit on the bike, ah it didn't really hurt anymore than it does now so I might end up going for a ride today before I go to work. I hope it doesn't take to long for my behind to feel better.

usually happens if you hadn't ridden in a while. i'm an avid bike rider, and sometimes make the 20 mile round trip to work and back. it takes me about 45 minutes (perhaps 35 if not for all the red lights)

it's good though, bike riding. i have a 12 speed mountain bike, the one with the spring loaded shock absorber for the seat. kinda like this:

(though not this Jeep Kind, and mine is much longer in the front)
it's much more comfortable for those long rides

Yeah well i never ride a bike. Nor do i run. Nor do i ever really exert a substantial amount of energy. Though i do play baseball and it does not require very much energy other than running the bases. Thank God for a high metabolism.
But i could not help but read that you work at a Chocolate Factory?!?! Wow, now i know why you ride your bike there. ;)

I went for another ride, I took the longway to my work (I love the nature paths, even found a dam) and I found a short cut on the way home, so it's only gonna take me about 10 minutes to get to work if I ride on the bike path at night, if it's not raining hehe.

My butt's not as sore this time around, I'll just get used to it.

My bike doesn't have that rear shock absorber, when I got the bike 9 years ago I figured it was mostly for off road, I'd think it would slow you down having that spring in the rear as well as the front.

Haha I start tonight, and as far as I know I'm gonna be working in the part that makes tic tacs, it's supposed to be air conditioned and if I was working at the chocolate part you are allowed to eat as much as you want, I wonder if that's true for the tic tac side. Just 1 calorie hehe.

I wonder how long it will take until I get promoted and a raise hmmm hehe

Chocolate? Did someone say chocolate? Ok here I am, where's the chocolate?

I admit that this is a pathetic attempt to catch up to Vertigo's post count.

Whatever, just give me some chocolate :lovestruck:
