Getting a MacBook Pro

On or around June 9th...

I'm hoping that they have the rumored chassis update. If not that, then certainly any kind of update at all.

Then I'll be snapping a MacBook Pro from the Apple store... give them one of my kidneys and maybe power of attorney for payment....


Then I'll be installing Ubuntu (because Linux is essential for a CS major to learn...) and Windows XP (Visual Studio :/, Games?) on it when I get it home in addition to OSX, of course.

So yeah, I'm excited. :thumbsup:

Yeah the summer update should be worth looking forward to. I will get my own when the upgrade comes. I'm not sure what chassis update you are talking about but the thing that interests me the most is the CPU upgrade. Supposedly the new Core 2 CPUs with 1066 MT/s FSB (T9400 and T9600) will be in the next MBP upgrade. Plus, I'd also like to see GeForce 9 series graphics card replacing the current 8600M GT, as well as bigger hard drive choices.
