Green M&Ms are the stuff.... They just taste better than all the others. They deserve their own thread. I think I'll write a poem or song or something to there greatness.

I’m offended by your discriminatory attitude whyme, it’s not how something looks on the outside that matters it’s what on the inside that counts - all M&M’s are created equal.
Disappointed whyme, very disappointed *shakes head in disgust*

Green M&Ms are no different than the others. It is merely the chromatic aberration of the human eye that makes the green wavelengths catch your attention a bit more.

It's not solely based upon looks, they taste better, they do, they really do taste better - green tastes so good. Green, Green Green Green.
I agree, whats on the inside does matter too. Thats why I prefer dark chocolate m&m's - they are far superior to the other non-dark chocolate varieties of M&Ms.

Red M&M's are bad, they are evil, they cause cancer - the blue one's do too. You're best to just throw them away or paint them green, then they are ok. Better yet, buy only green M&Ms.

Yes, if they had pink M&M's they would without a doubt be my favorite......but I must settle for green, the new color of love. At least there are pink hearts on the above package.
Green M&Ms are also good for the environment because they are.......GREEN.

*repositions Freud hat*
Ah, tango, the dance of desire, clearly your dream shows unconscious desires for green chocolaty love, the question is why, what traumatic event transpired during your childhood to conceive this lust. Let us first focus on the relationship between father and son, the sanctity which we have ascribed to the restriction of the Decalogue dulls our perception of reality, we dare not notice humanities neglect of the fifth commandment. No doubt you directed your first sexual impulses towards your mother and hatred towards your father, you must forsake these feelings. Your wish fulfilment is obviously the desire for sexual fulfilment despite society’s negative stance towards ecologically aware M&M’s and their fear of inter-confectionary relationships.
*removes hat*

Wait, what about people who are color blind? They can't tell the difference, woe is them. Red, green, it's all the same.
"When you eat your Smarties, do you eat the red ones last? Do you suck them very slowly or crunch them very fast? Eat that candy coated chocolate, but tell me when I ask. When you eat your Smarties, do you eat the red ones last?" That was a massively popular ad campaign when I was a kid. Yeah, yeah I know, what are Smarties? Just think of them as extra special Canadian M&Ms. And I didn't eat the red ones last but liked to eat 2 at a time of the same color. And I sucked them very slowly.

I've actually tried to tell the difference between the colors of M&M. I had to try them with my eyes closed. I can tell the difference between some, but not all. Green and red taste about the same, and orange and yellow like the red but a bit milder, I suppose. The blue tastes a bit powdery, if that makes sense. The brown tastes the best though, really sweet ^.^
If you want to do further research, you can get M&Ms in many more colors beyond the standard bagged ones.

M&Ms were created perfect in their original form and colors. We are tampering with the natural order of things when we go around making up these "bastard M&Ms"! Where have we strayed in our thinking, that such blasphemy is foisted on an unsuspecting public as "individualizing", or "personalizing".
Is there no shame?!
Evil laugh. I'm shameless.
...apparently not.
That reminds me.
Here in the Netherlands, they have licorish, a kind of dark, sticky stuff that, apparently, only Dutch people like.
In particular, there are these things called "Zwart-witjes", or "Black-whities", which look like black and white M&M's.

I dont like to eat the black ones, only the whites, which are the majority of the candy. They do have different flavor, however, but doesnt make me feel less white-surpremacist.
To make matters even worse, there is a scene in American History X where the fat, dumb, racist guy, does the same thing of taking out a black one from a bowl full of whites.

The Bastard M&Ms probably are hanging out with the Bastard Smarties -- you know the American ones, the ones that look and taste like children's aspirin? They're called Smarties, too, but they're not the same as the M&M-like ones.

Hey! I like the (so-called) Bastard Smarties. Place one on tongue and let it dissolve slowly, repeat. The best ones are the semi-stale ones that dissolve into powder, as opposed to the harder, crunchy ones that are like hard candy.

Fine. Mark the ENTP's down as indecisive and unable to choose a color. Yoohoo other types, what is your favorite M&M color? This is your chance to influence a test. This is important work we are doing here. A little participation from the peanut gallery would be appreciated. Oh, peanut M&M's are my favorite btw, much better than plain.
Actually as an ENTP I would simply eat all the M&Ms indiscriminately.

I think you're all a bunch of F's assigning different values to M&M's based on colour. they ALL taste the same no matter what the color. I prefer the dark choc M&M's in any colour. Actually, I'd prefer they came naturally coloured. I doubt those dyes are good for you.

There's more to the experience than just the taste. The color sets the mood. The mood must be experienced.
I agree, the dyes are bad but only the blue and red dye.........They should die and be replaced by more green.

The dye is safe, it's the shellac they put on the M&Ms so it won't come off in your hands that will kill you.
I'd rather have natural-colored M&Ms, too. For me, color is handy for stuff like Skittles, because they're differently flavored.
