Hey hey Masterminds! This game is open so anyone can join and recuit players anywhere they want [just don't break forums rules]. I won't run a game while there's another one that started first running. That's rude. Lets give chimerical until Wednesday at night if he comes back then we continue with him, if not we start this one. I will bring clear and easy rules later, don't worry for that.

As I said, you can join since now and I hope lots of people, like 14 or and participation of all the players. This time participation is more important than ever and if you join make sure you don't worry playing on evil or good side. I want players that dare to participate and don't keep in background so silent that they dont even dare to say a shy hi when they join the office so nobody percieves them. I will take note on participation.

participation, and the game itself has been tweaked every time. the assumption is that it's the game form that limits or gives room for success. TLM's game was a success imho. it did fall apart but interaction was high. Chimericals game didn't give enough structure. I think Intj's do need structure even if the N is high. I think if there is a roll and a story line it takes off. I think partnering up everyone was a good idea, it gave some sort of stepping stone for the detective to work from.


oh, and no idea if this one will fail or not.

errrzarr appears to have lost interest. anyone else want to run it. there might be interest if we renamed it and started over. someone's got to run it though.

oh I was figuring a new list. I still don't want to moderate this though. Hoping someone else might pop up. I seem to remember early on TLM wanted to moderate one. I know when chimerical got banned but I don't know what for, I have no idea why dreamer got banned. they seemed mellow iirc. Arronax also disappeared. actually, I think everyone on that list has disappeared. there is a new crop of people here that is why I was thinking this game might work now, not enough people were signing up.

uh, gosh they were probably in the 3d game or something. the rules had been heavily altered as the original rules were really irrational, no matter what the wolves/mafia won in the original rules, it was like a bad game of tic tac toe. I think this game should have a clear chance for either side to win thru logic and questioning. basically the idea of the game is you have good guys and bad guys picked at random and some sort of scenario. everyone should post a paragraph in relation to the story about their characters, everyone can question one other character per turn then everyone votes for who they think the bad guy is for the turn and that person is killed or placed in quarantine, then the bad guys have a turn off the scenes and someone is killed of the rest of the cast, then the cycle is repeated trying to figure out who the bad guys are. in the end either everyone is killed but the bad guys and they win, or everyone figures out who the bad guys are and they're apprehended.


oh yeah, partners were assigned so you knew the identity of at least one other person. it seems to me in the very last game there were various personas with special powers assigned, that was neat.
