WOAH the old man was right!

I had a Set Theory professor that once told our class, as an aside, that he always "felt" that the set of partition numbers were fractal, but he couldn't provide any sort of proof. Just the way he related the set to infinity, it made 'intuitive' sense but there was no concrete proof.

He's been deceased for about 5 years now. Wish he could have read that article

That's incredible. And fractals are amazingly beautiful things.

Mathematics really does amaze me sometimes. It seems so logical at first, and behaves logically, and then bam - something that looks completely out of the ordinary happens, like a fractal. And then we learn that it is still logical and still works.

Consider my mind blown. XD
