This is my first post here at the INTJ Forums, so hello to everyone!
My girlfriend is a member of the INFP forum and persuaded me to join here because "Everyone on there is JUST LIKE YOU", so I decided to give it a shot.
Ok, on to my post!
Everyone has fond memories of playing their favorite games and getting the music stuck in their heads for days because it was just that good. I wanted to start a list to see if any of my favorites match up with any other of my fellow INTJ's.
My favorites (in order):
1.) Final Fantasy VII [PSX]
2.) Warcraft 2 [PC-DOS]
3.) Starcraft [PC-Windows]
4.) WipeoutXL [PSX]
5.) Doom [PC-DOS]
6.) Zelda: A Link To The Past [SNES]
Honorable Mention:
- All the Mario Bro's had excellent music
- Portal ending credits song [Jonathan Coulton - Still Alive]
(hint - if you have video game music loaded in winamp, that's a sign you should add it to your list.)

One of my friends made a companion cube cake for her boyfriends' 23rd. T'was the best cake I've ever eaten!

Wasn't much of a gamer, but Super Mario Bros. and Tetris get stuck in my head.
Also Mario Kart.
Or, unfortunately, Sonic the Hedgehog, whenever my little brother plays it on his PC.

Chrono Cross wins hands down. The music for that game is incredible.
My next favorite would be music from The Legend of Dragoon. Dart's Theme especially.

I like the GTA III theme song a lot.
I didn't really count the radio soundtrack in the GTA games because they weren't specifically made for the game. Although I think San Andreas had the best rock station of all the GTA games.

Also, Freelancer had a great soundtrack.

i really liked the GTAIII theme song a lot too, but i definitely preferred the radio play on Vice City better than Andreas, although San Andreas is my second favorite GTA game.
I have a narrow Nintendo-focused experience with video games so those are the only ones I'll have:
Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario World
Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker, and The Link to the Past
A few of Super Smash Bros.
Paper Mario 1 and 2
DDR: Mario Mix, that was all it was for...
Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2
F-Zero GX

Halo is very good. I also like the new SS Brawl music, it's like a mish mash of everything. Rome Total War soundtrack really gets me in a “war” mood
GTA Vice City and SSX Tricky

I really like the music from Tales of Symphonia. Zelda music is good too, especially Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (gotta love the inverted-tower music!). Nayru's theme from Oracle of Ages is also pretty.

I love music that gives me a sense of a sense of adventure, and am a huge fan of evocative soundtracks in RPGs. Rather than typing them out, here are some youtube links.

FF7, Morrowind were the only two that stood out in my mind.
In retrospect, the music of FFVII wasn't all that great, but it really was good when I first heard it at 9 or 10 years old and kinds of strike a nostalgic chord.

oooh, that was so much fun
i can't remember the name of it though
though Battlefield 2 (for ps2) is awesome for just blasting people away online (and you get to fly a chopper)
i love chopper games, and aircraft games

Sarcasm aside, without a doubt, my vote goes to Ikaruga. One of the hardest games of all time, coupled with an amazing soundtrack and fantastic visuals, provide an experience like no other.
