Anyone think there is something wrong with these machines? There were some strange irregularities in the Indiana Democratic Primaries but it would be hard to believe that the Republicans would use this card merely to make the Democratic primaries more drawn out, but there is clearly something wrong with them.
Some facts to consider:
[] consistently showed more votes than TOTAL registered republicans while democrats saw 10% of registrants in many districts (2004 Ohio).
[] CEO of Diebold, Wally O'Dell was a major contributer to the Republican campaign, and famously stated he would "deliver" Ohio
[] Wally resigns under cloud of mishandling of elections (Georgia and Ohio), insider trading and failure to implement appropriate security measures
[] Diebold machines consistently defy exit polls in favor of the Republicans. Hand counted ballots have NEVER contradicted exit polls.
[] 2 Diebold employees get CONVICTED for 18 months for rigging the 2004 Ohio election
[] Several Universities show that the security systems for Diebold are easily hacked.

Yesterday, we reported that according to Indiana's own figures, 1.1 million voter registrations had been cancelled, one-quarter of a million of those in just two counties. Another researcher, Steve Rosenfeld, began tracking back through data from the Election Assistance Commission, finding that the cancellation quantities didn't jive with the numbers you'd expect. According to Rosenfeld, after talking with the office of the Indiana Secretary of State the explanation is that "cancelled" does not mean "cancelled registrations" it means "changes" to registrations. "
