world hunger and santitation issues.

It make sanse. I am just not familiar whit the term.

I think we are looking at total disaster. By this I mean billions of dead people very soon.
And to keep it simple, I think this way because for years I am thinking about this kind of stuff and doing my private investigation on this.
If starter of the tread whants I can go in much greater detail.

Please do. And I ma sorry that 'silent tsunami' is not so clear a term. It's just the net term for the food shortages going on in a lot of the areas in the world right now. If you're still unsure you can google it and a lot of news sites will pop up.

There are regions of the world that are at or above carrying capacity (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.). When there's a problem with food imports people starve. After decades of food support populations in these regions have bumped up against sanitation limits. They lack the infrastructure necessary to maintain a steady supply of clean drinking water and to irrigate enough crops to supply their own food.

The solution is pretty straightforward, it's just difficult to implement. They need to undergo a cultural change that reduces the birth rate and need technological support in the form of water treatment, storage and retrieval.

Silent tsunami... do you mean the events happening lately?

If that's what you mean I believe the main reason is due to earth plates shifting under sea which essentially are similar to what we call earthquake, but a lot stronger and concentrated under water bodies.

It would be hard to predict them, but I'm sure there are recent technologies that could detect ahead of time when such event happens from miles away. Again, it's all about money, countries will need to have enough money to afford such technology and most poor countries would not have it.

As to how they could be avoid it... hard to say for they are natural disasters and therefore are unpredictable most of the time. Again having the technology might help, but even that will not guaranteed the safety of people or even provide an overview of the overall damage that can it can cause on the affected areas.

On the last tsunami NASA discovered that a few of the island end it under water... that said, they pretty much disappear from the radar along with all the people on it which is why the cipher of death people is so high...It is sad, but I feel such will be happening more often... Islands full of people will disappear under water. People who survived such events will suffer not only from diceases but from hunger, thirst, and may even turn against each other for most people are materialistic and think only of themselves.

Not sure if that's what you meant, but that's my understanding of your question.
