It is pretty well accepted that the two hemispheres of the brain have their individual functions. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. (yeah, too lazy to get a real source ;)). Hence, a lot of people claim that they are one or the other, as if both sides hemispheres cannot be equally competent.
However, I never really noticed this. In fact, I don't particularly notice much of a difference between language in letters or in mathematics/logic. Interestingly, I also note that my verbal/logic skills decline simultaneously if I'm under stress or tired.
I miss details in both a lot as well. I have an adequate vocabulary, proper grammar, and good syntax, but I cannot spell worth a damn a lot of the times. Likewise, I don't really like dealing with crunching numbers whatsoever (and can be bad at it), but I like math.
