well I'm not into suicide either, but if I had a choice, I'd want something spectacular.

Driving a porche out of an aeroplane and surfing on the bonnet. Then in the last few hundred metres I'd pop the trunk and have doves fly out of the boot. And also at the ground I'd have pyros spray fire into the air.

I think I'd like a clown or two in there too to lighten the mood :P

Like I stated in the other thread, I would like to be mauled and/or raped by a Sasquatch. But another fun one would be being impaled by the Washington Monument. Something a little bit more tame would be dying from carbon monoxide in my sleep or cannibalism.

I was thinking more along the lines of dying while having my brain removed. Then regaining consciousness in a robot body which pumps nanite filled blood through my brain repairing it for the rest of eternity as I go about my boring existence and learn everything until I run out of space, then I pack it into hard drives :D Eventually becoming god to a new breed of humans on a distant planet.

I wouldn't like it if I died while still being in this human form. So I am looking forward to uploading my mind into a computer. This would grant me some kind of relative immortality, but there are still some nice possibilities of "death".

1. Merging my identity with a huge group mind that assimilates my knowledge, skills and memories.
2. Letting someone pull the plug, so I am no longer in active mode. If someone really needed me again they could reactivate me quite easily.
3. Or maybe someone will just build a nova bomb and blow up the whole solar system before terran intelligence expands throughout the universe. Game over.

Shot to the head might do the trick as well, since other quick and painless methods are available.

Yeah, painless in old age is the way to go.

However, if I ever get to a point where I would kill myself, then skydiving without a parachute would be an amazing, truly amazing way to go. The thrill of literally facing your doom while overviewing the world and being completely free and detached is fascinating to me.

But right now I prefer the jump with a parachute though.

I would also like to die being fully aware. Eager... curious... explaining to the people around me what is going on, what I feel and what I see... I mean, to die like some kind of "explorer of death experience".
Once I had a dream of a nuclear plant going to explode. Everybody was running away and I said to myself "why running? this is going to melt us.." so anyway why not dying trying to stop it? so I run to the plant while everybody escapes... suddenly it explode right in front of me... nice dream... I would like that.
