I don't have any idea why but it's been going on for about three years now and I'm completely sick of it. I feel as if life is just passing me by and it feels as if my mind has become completely blank for years. For example every time I go to school and I have an assignment to do I just don't think at all. I just answer questions and nothing every passes through my head. I can't think of options or possibilities no matter how hard I try. I just don't think as clearly as I used to. Has this ever happened to you? What's going on with me?

Talk to a psychiatrist or a therapist. We aren't exactly experts here who can help you more specifically with your problems. However, it sounds like some sort of condition, possibly ADD (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.)?

Switch careers; switch majors; etc. It sounds like you are not studying something that interests you. Surely there are topics out there that interest you, and things out there in the world that you want to do. Explore the world, set some goals, work toward achieving them.

Unfortunately, most styles of contemporary education involve a lot of mindless "answering questions", based upon the strict memorization of terms or processes or doctrines. But every once in a while, an opportunity comes along in which you can "think outside the box". Take advantage of this!

You, just like everyone else, have a niche in the world. But it's up to you to find it.

I see this situation often when I go to school at many of my colleagues, but I have no idea what you could do.

I experienced this some time ago at work where I faced constant mobbing. I finally decided to quit the job. The symptoms disappered quickly. I strongly agree with DT15's suggestions.

Most likely yes, maybe what I'm doing just isn't appealing to me. The downside to this is that I'm a senior and I can't just switch classes so easily because my mind is just blank at every subject I do and there's no way I can switch subjects that are mandatory to graduate. I am taking steps to fix this though. I've been trying out different sports, taking up different kinds of arts, and going ahead of the game in school but not much progress unfortunately. It's a bit irritating to have such a blank mind because I feel so incompetent.

I also have frequent anxiety attacks so maybe that has to do something with it?
