Except for Zorro!
Perhaps the modern Zorro drives a Mazda?
rwyatt365
08-06-2008, 11:18 AM
Yeah, he did but got embarassed after being told that it was a "chick car"?
What exactly IS a "chick car"?
A very stylish, French vehicle that was used to name an American city- as in 'Look at that chic car go' (Sorry)
Given that the speed of light is finite, and the size of the universe is infinite, do you want some toast?

Yes, but only at the edge of the universe.
How hot is a disco inferno?
Synamon
08-06-2008, 01:13 PM
Ice, ice, baby. I'd post the song but I just can't. Muppets doing Rick Astley scarred me enough for the whole year.
How hot is hot?

08-06-2008, 01:17 PM
My usual point of reference is me and I, apparently, am smoking.
How green is my valley?
Synamon
08-06-2008, 01:20 PM
Your valley is verdant Sprout. Say hi to the Jolly Green guy for me.
Can I call you Sprout as a nickname?
bladeserver
08-06-2008, 01:22 PM
I would prefer Bruno but I guess sprout is better than "hey you".
Why is my neck stiff?

Syn: You'd be the first.
Blade: From sitting there poised and ready to post a reply.;)
How's Uncle Walter?
So what's wrong with Uncle Walter, already? You can break the news to me now... I'm ready.

Milk stout and pork scratchings.
Can I watch you next time?
ssrprotege

Yes, but remember that you will be assimilated should I see you again. Welcome to the ISTJ collective!
Why would FC watch me?
NephilimAzrael

I'm so tired of cheese, why is that?
Fridays Child
08-06-2008, 09:48 PM
Because you need someone to show you the whey.
Would I still be me if I melted?

Where do babies come from?

Your mom hasn't explained that to you yet?
Lupin
08-06-2008, 11:29 PM
No, she was never there.....'emotionally absent and neglectful mothers' should constitute criminal activity.
It is the day of stiff necks....why does my neck feel like someone else's who's just had a touch of whiplash?

Where, oh, where, has my motivation gone?
Dunno, look behind the fridge or down the side of the settee cushions.

Mmm. cake. What is my dream?
Lupin
08-07-2008, 05:00 AM
To be the reincarnation of the one and only Mr Kipling, the Lennon of baking.
"You are the cake man, you are the cake man, you are the Walrus, doo do'n do".
*huh?*
Six fingers on each hand hasn't done my neck any good whatsoever. Serves me right for believing in the discounted and speedy offers of health tourism.....

08-07-2008, 05:50 AM
Whoa, you are in a Delta Quadrant. That was quite a thought! If you want to go farther, go for it, I like being in the realm of thought I have never been before! Whether it's crazy or not doesn't matter to me, everything "weird" is "normal" here! *feeling adrenalin pumping through my body*
Why am I so hyperactive now? Libido is going out, but I feel energized! This is very un-introverted!
le Duc
08-07-2008, 06:50 AM
You feel energized because you changed to an I. If you went back to E, you'd feel lethargic. If you changed to a P, you'd feel decisive. Anyway...
Why doesn't anyone ever mention the blueberries of wrath?
ssrprotege
08-07-2008, 06:51 AM
Because INTJ's don't want to have the Bendii Syndrome.
How are the blueberries connected to wrath? Explain to me, step-by-step.
le Duc
08-07-2008, 07:11 AM
Blueberries are false berries, while grapes are true berries, even though blueberries have 'berry' in their name. That oughtta stir up the wrath in anyone.
Is life a chair of bowlies?

Let's just pose that one again, precisely why would I want that?
Synamon

edit: and you too Lupin since it is the same question
Why are they called brakes if you only get broken when they fail?
Lupin
08-07-2008, 08:12 AM

le Duc
08-07-2008, 08:17 AM
Jolly good question......
Let's just pose that one again, precisely why would I want that?
That is patently unfair.;) No way you get points for being faster with that one!
A (b)rake's progress was indeed a failure for one particular individual.

No, she just wants us to land in the ferns. (I wonder if anyone will get that one...)

We haven't done food on here in awhile (3 hours, in fact), so what's for lunch?
Fridays Child
08-07-2008, 10:37 AM

08-07-2008, 10:47 AM
I wonder if offal has an homonymous etymology.
Where does nothing come from?
Fridays Child

Why can't we all sing like Julie Andrews?
le Duc
08-07-2008, 11:01 AM
Alas, the sad situation. We could all lose our voice like her.
If you could sing beautifully once and never again, would you?
Fridays Child
08-07-2008, 11:09 AM
No. The Long Blondes beat me to it with their version of Once and Never Again, so there's no point.
Would you like that as a ringtone for your mobile?
le Duc
08-07-2008, 11:13 AM
Tomorrow Starts Today would be a better ringtone for Mobile.
If you can't sing, what else is there?
Fridays Child
08-07-2008, 11:18 AM
Well, I can't sing Beautifully... For Stars cornered that one, too.
Is my life a total loss?
le Duc
08-07-2008, 11:20 AM
Not total. We can salvage something, I'm sure.
Could anyone's life be a total gain?
Lupin
08-07-2008, 11:23 AM
Hopefully we can all wrestle successfully with it but, like most females, we can joyfully embrace weight gain without a doubt. I mean, it's not exactly like backing a doped-up, grey, three-legged horse. You really do have a chance of winning this one ;).
Can anyone see the merit of 'magic pants'?

08-07-2008, 11:24 AM

Do you have a grommet in your desk?
Wapiti
08-07-2008, 11:25 AM

Why are they called "hard boiled" eggs. They're not really hard, they're just firm.
le Duc
08-07-2008, 11:27 AM
Eat a sof boiled and you'll see why they're called har boiled.
But are they har, har, har?
Wapiti
08-07-2008, 11:28 AM
No, they are hard, I just edited it.
Are magic pants sof sof sof?
Lupin
08-07-2008, 11:30 AM
Depends how you boil them.....magma can have quite a solidifying effect me thinks. Doubt Pompeii's eggs were just 'firm'. Luckily they were edified before the salmonella took hold.

08-07-2008, 11:41 AM

Which leg, upon removal, leaves the horse with the best balance?
Lupin
08-07-2008, 11:54 AM
The best balance comes when you keep paying into the same bank and er, keeping it there. What you're talking about horses for is anybody's guess.
Fancy a walk?

08-07-2008, 12:07 PM

Was Napoleon complex?
Fridays Child
08-07-2008, 12:11 PM

Why did you make me start talking about food...again??
le Duc
08-07-2008, 12:17 PM
That's right: blame me. Everybody knows that when you bring up French dictators *pop* the first thing into FC's mind is namesake pastries...
Are the first nine clouds really numbered somewhere?
Fridays Child

Did you see the one that looked like a gingersnap?

Did you see the one that looks like a pair of cupid wings?

Do French cows have French horns?
Fridays Child
08-07-2008, 01:15 PM

I mean, wouldn't you?
Wapiti
08-07-2008, 01:18 PM
Yep, I toot all the time.
Is this where all the thread eating vultures hang out?

08-07-2008, 01:23 PM
I nevermind.
Doth not since we ergo hoc?

Can we take this up a notch?

08-07-2008, 04:18 PM
'Cuz their arms are too short.
Why did they let you have bubbles in the first place?
Fridays Child
08-07-2008, 04:37 PM
Because someone else had first dibs on the ostrich feather costume.
Was that not a good choice?
NHere
08-08-2008, 02:12 AM
Your tone suggests a lack of confidence in your choice. Perhaps you would have chosen to fight for your right to have ostrich feathers if you had more confidence.

What is important?
Lupin
08-08-2008, 04:27 AM
Happiness is important. In fact, it's the ONLY important thing you need to make pains to discover and hold on to. I recommend a jolly good look at Grayling and Tolle for a bit of inspiration ;). Or, like me, just have another slice of Mr Kipling's Jamaica Ginger cake.
Questioning can delay a quicker route to enduring, enviable inner happiness, n'est pas?
NHere
08-08-2008, 05:34 AM
Mais non, for it is in questioning that we realize that we are, in fact, NOT happy, and if we never knew we were not happy, we wouldn't ever have the reason to envy inner happiness.
Are you happy it's Friday?
rwyatt365
08-08-2008, 05:55 AM
How can one EVER be happy that Friday is "it"?! That leaves six other days left in obscurity. The unfairness of that is crushing and debilitating. To think that one day take precedence over all of the others, when those others have so much to give!
