Hi All!

I'm a newbie here. I got to know I am an INTJ after taking two tests on the internet, one from humanmetrics, the other from the My Type application in Facebook. I think both tests consist of the same questions, but I scored as INTJ on both occasions. I've read through the descriptions of an INTJ and found that it describe me very well (would say >80%).

Just like to ask if the tests are accurate, and that I am really an INTJ. Anyone have any other resources that I can get hold of for a more accurate assessment? Thanks so much in advanced!

John

Not nearly as accurate as a professionally administered and thorough assessment, especially if any of your preferences are in the middle of the range. The benefit of having a longer test is more questions testing each facet of your personality will lead to smaller margins of error. Trained administrators help prepare you for how to choose a response if there's more than one "right answer" (you feel one way, but behave another) and generally eliminate factors which will introduce bias.

That being said, it's usually a pretty good ballpark.
