If you've ever played "the wolf game," or "mafia" this is my version of those. I've added a few things to it to make the game more interesting. The only problem with this is that it's much more fun the first time you play it because of a few surprises in the game [Even the mention of them ruins some of the fun when played with a group that functions on Introverted iNtuition to such a high degree].

For those who HAVE played mafia and the wolf game you can skip this paragraph. Those a little rusty on the rules or new to the game this is a run down on how the game works. First you have daytime and nighttime [which will go in real time]. Then you've got normal people and wolves/mafia members. W/M member's are deadly killers, their goal is to rid the world of regular people while the people are busy trying to expose the killers. The wolves are selected anonymously. During the day phase everyone communicates in order to get clues to figure out who the wolves are. They all take turns voting who to kill off, when the votes are in a decision is made and someone dies and is out of the game. Then the night phase comes by and the wolves kill someone [if the game is large enough there will be multiple deaths]. This goes on until all the killers are gone or all the humans are gone.

My game, as said before, has a surprise of two added. We still have the night killings and the voting during the day time. But each killer is given a weapon to use for the murders. When they kill someone I will describe what happens to the person who died. Once you are dead you can no longer post or talk about the game to people involved.

A series of unexpected murders were happening across town. Nick Jones the greatest detective EVER!!!, [it's his personality that makes him so awesome, really it is] is hosting a dinner and has invited everyone in here to join.

Shai Gar, AgentofGaming, Alstroemeria, Kotetsu, ehares, Antares Enter the room first, while Marja, ethsar46, Zirka, TheLastMohican, Nekocatz are running late.


Shai Gar, AgentofGaming, Alstroemeria, Kotetsu, ehares, Antares find Mr. Jones' body covered in wax and third degree burns with a scent of watermelon. He's dead. Shortly after Marja, ethsar46, Zirka, TheLastMohican, Nekocatz all enter the room [yes I don't use AND when I list people, but I'm lazy].

You'll all be given names and roles. Introduce yourselves and try and figure out who the killer[s] is/are. Have fun.

Shortly after Neil Patrick Harris drank some booze and wondered drunkenly into the night in search of the bathroom. Suddenly there was a loud thud and everyone rushed to the seen only to find that a giant statue had fallen on him and killed him on contact. There was no sign the statue had been tampered with and everyone else was in the other room while it happened. Neil Patrick Harris is now a bloody pile of organs, statue rubble, and crushed bones. He is no more [sucks to be him].

Later on that evening, Mr.Smith, James Smith [the lost mohican] was found with third degree burns, covered in wax with a scent of peach, in the library. Foul play was obviously at hand here. hmhmhmhmhmhmhmhmhm. Whoever killed James killed him the same was Nick Jones was killed [except they used a different scent of wax].

I have no objections to resurrections other than the use of particular forms of necromancy that will be required to do so. It's quite unethical.

James smith was resurrected through some ungodly powers but was still covered in wax and smelled like peaches. He has no memory of the events prior to his death.

Neil Patrick Harris lied there dead until a mysterious mad scientist took his remains and built him into a fully functional cyborg. He is not Mecha NPH.

After overlooking the case there was not enough substantial evidence to keep harvey birdman locked away, so he was released. upon leaving the cell he vowed to find the culprit.

The group gathered to gain info on the four newcomers and figure out how the hell the dead are no longer dead. Everyone makes a group decision that jail is no longer an option sense there are way too many fuckin' people.

Now, whomever is the majority vote will DIE and be out of the game.
Of these newcomers do any of them have weapons or powers of death? What are their names? Which ones are innocent? And what the hell is with this scented wax?

Game reset. have fun. Oh, and undead/new people I'll be sending you pms about your roles, in just a few moments.

The structure goes as follows.
There is voting to see who you want to kill off, basically who the majority suspects as a killer.
Then there are killers and regular people. The reg.s are trying to make sure that they contain and kill the killers before they're killed through the voting system, the killers are trying to kill off anyone who's a potential witness.

There is day phase and night phase. Right now it is "day phase."
Day phase is when the voting takes place. During the day you try to figure out who the killer is and you cast your votes.

Night phase is when someone dies, this is instantaneous and is contained within only my posts. Basically I tell you who died and how. This will give you clues as to how the killer kills, and who dies lets you know who the killer might be.

Right now it's been a little disorganized since I've been busy irl a bit, but now I can focus more time here.

So far we have one vote for marja.

This is the only way this game is going to make sense. If everyone is silent and then just votes randomly this game isn't much fun imho.

I am just spork. that's why I said we need to make up whatever persona we want. But something needs to be done to increase activity. the problem is that we have no persona's and a very weak scenario to be in to determine killers or innocent. we have to create that. it's the only way for this game to make sense. No writing down actions taken by another person or actual clues to the murder. Only actions you take. But if you're suggesting something I'll let you know if it's real or not, like the wax deal.

Everyone searched and looked but found no wax other than the wax on the bodies, and the wax James Smith was covered it.

Of the two deaths last time one of them involved a statue falling on someone. And there was no evidence the statue had been tinkered with whatsoever.

Yeah....so Maybe one of the new/readded characters IS a killer, or maybe two of them. Who knows. But focusing all the attention on them trying to figure out which is a killer makes no sense, since the ratio of killers within the readds/new people is the exact same as the ratio of killers within the rest of the game.

Diary entry for Saturday, April 19.

Not much going on today. We were pretty much sitting around a table all day, eating watermelon and wondering who the murderers might be.
The fact that we all knew that two (?) out of our middle are muderers and could attack again any time made us careful about what we said, no one wanted to attract the wrath of the murderers to himself, any more than anyone wanted to say something which might make the others suspect him to be one of the murderers himself. So, obviously, we were all rather tense and quiet.
Nevertheless, I can`t help thinking that if we met in any less dramatic situation, we might really get along well and have a great time.
I wonder if there is a reason why we are getting watermelon for the second day in a row. Does that have anything to do with the case and is maybe supposed to be a parallel to the peach smell found on Mr. Smith? Maybe the fruit are some kind of hint, or maybe it is all coincidence and our honoured host Nick just likes watermelon.
I have no way of knowing, but I`ll keep my eyes open.

I wonder if I have any watermelon recipes. A watermelon cake with honey and lemon juice might taste good, I`ll have to check. Hmm...

SexyJack and Azelismia are executed because the others had suspicions there were the killers. Sexy Jack grew ill before execution. After inspecting his body traces of poison were discovered. Had he not been executed he would have died anyway.

I'm a bit confused now. It seems like they should all be sick from the same thing, since it happened all at the same time, and since Chimerical waited to announce that they were sick until after night phase, it seems like that would have something to do with the murderers. But it also sounds like ethsar's illness was more serious. Poison was found in him, so that would make sense, since poison would kill fast like that. But then the other people who are sick would seem to be sick from something milder.

Maybe this is just meant to panic us or something. That's my current guess. But who knows, people can die from the flu too.

And what would be the point of a murderer making somebody sick? Unless being sick restricts voting or something. Chimerical, clue us in here?

I have a strong hunch in her direction due to a certain slip-up (which I can't tell you about, which is frustrating). No solid evidence, but an educated guess.
As for her having died already, I think the killers might have been changed when the game was relaunched. That way it would start fresh, and she might also have been picked. I think so mainly because the wax no longer is showing up, and that was supposed to the killer's MO, indicating that we now have a different killer (or killers) at work.

But throw out whatever thoughts/evidence you have. I am feeling ill-informed for voting purposes.

This game is impossible to play on a suspicion level. Anybody can be voted off for suspicion at any time. The game leaves no clues beyond how the persons themselves represent themselves. Easiest to be self serving and try and vote everyone else off.

The rules make it impossible for anything else.
