Feel free to post in this subforum if you would like to suggest something for the gallery. We make no guarantees that we will take everyone up on their suggestions, but I'll check here when inspiration is needed.

I was wondering why there weren't more of those.
I also think we need more philosophers. I'd like to see Marcus Aurelius up there :thumbsup:

Pictures of ourselves could work too ;) but it seems with the way people have super standards on the internet most people are terrified of being seen on any place other than myspace.

The custom avatar settings annoy me. What happened to minimum file size, maximum length on one side with automatic resize? I thought that was the standard for forums.

Either way, needs more Yoshitoshi Abe. Seriously.

I was wondering why there weren't more of those.
I thought about it, but whether or not some famous person was actually an INTJ is always up for debate. There would also be overlap in other categories. Instead, I'll include them in the other galleries when possible.

I also think we need more philosophers. I'd like to see Marcus Aurelius up there
We'll probably add more philosophers at some point. I hope more people start using them.

And, of course, it would be great to get ancient Romans and Greeks too (Cicero?).

P.S We really need Voltaires picture - one of the greatest philosopher of all time.

Would that mean going around the forum as an Erlenmeyer flask or ethyl alcohol chain? perhaps as triple integrals and Riemann sums?

The problem with Tron (and other older movies) is finding enough stock images to create a gallery. We need a minimum of at least 20 avatars before publishing a gallery. I didn't have any luck finding enough stock images on the internet and I don't own the dvd to get screenshots. I've been increasing the movie gallery sizes organizing them by director instead of individual movies. However, the director of Tron didn't do anything else noteworthy that I'm aware of.

I'd like to see more scientist avatars on the forum too. It's something I will consider.

Members may start threads in this subforum if they would like to submit avatars for other members to use. We only add avatars to the galleries when we have enough for a new page (twenty at a time). If the avatar quality is good enough and there are either enough for a new page or I have enough to add to complete a page, I would be willing to add member submissions to the galleries.

Is it possible to get 20 avatars from Ed Wood movies (Plan 9 from Outer Space, Glen or Glenda, and Bride of the Monster)?

Also, avatars from the movie Ed Wood should be added to the Tim Burton section.

And Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese movie avatars would be cool, and relatively easy to find, I think.

Characters from Final Fantasy VII/X and characters from Rurouni Kenshin would be greatly appreciated, as would characters from Marvel and DC comics. Oh, and characters/scenes from The Matrix would be nice, too...

...On second thought, why don't we just put any epic sci-fi/superhero/anime/video game series we can think of in there. ;)

Avatars from Paul Verhoeven films would be awesome, too, particularly Robocop, Total Recall, Basic Instinct, Starship Troopers, and Hollow Man -- basically anything but Showgirls.

What about pictures of scientific study? (e.g.-interesting organisms...close ups of plant/marine life, astronomy, etc.). It seems like they would be fitting here, and intersting to look at.
