Curiosity rises. I figure a lot of you may have ENFP friends/spouses (spice?) and might have a somewhat objective view on this.

Not that we expect anyone has decided what she(or he) wants to be when she grows up...but, assuming that she may have chosen something for a job/occupation, what did she choose?

Is she happy doing it?

Of the friends I have whom I suspect are ENFP... one became a Latin teacher, and I think she likes it... one is a manager, and he likes some stuff about it... one I'm not sure, I think she might be a homemaker, and she tends to wish she'd accomplished more.

My brother is a kind of political event organizer. He likes travelling around and meeting a bunch of people during election campaigns, but hates when there is no field work to do and he has to sit in the office all day.

ENFPs: actor, sociology, literature

INFPs: music, art, neuroscience (?)

that's all I can remember.

Hah Uytuun!! Kudos to that one. 'Tis Admirable...

I don't think I could do a PhD. Too busy, um, chasing butterflies or something. Yes. Alas.

My ENFP friend just quit her job at a bank because she absolutely hated it. She found it nitpicky and stifling.

ENFP - musician, music teacher. Hobby, music, computer games and composition
ENFP - IT tech support. Hobby, music, computer games, wrestling

Both are bad with time. And systems. But very spontaneous and fun to be around.

My sister (most likely ENFP) spends the majority of her time in college watching television, partying, and sleeping. I wouldn't really know what the other ENFP do because I don't really have any friends.

The ENFPs I know (most confirmed, a few merely likely) are variably in: French language education, playwriting, criminal justice, psychology, linguistics, philosophy, computer science, web design, global health, costume design, theatre, herbal studies and midwifery, funeral direction, modelling, escorting (strictly of the legal variety, as far as I'm aware), photography, art practice, graphic design, sustainable agriculture... others I'm not currently remembering, no doubt.

I'm an ENFP currently at college, but I changed what I was studying more than 5 times, now I'm studying subjects that don't really fit together and are kinda random. I'm hoping for a career that involves travelling though and I like working with charities/doing volunteer work.

I know 2 ENFPs. One is a children's librarian and very good at it and loves it. The other is a high school librarian, and she is also good at her job and loves it.

One of my best friends, tested ENFP, is doing strategy consulting work for a consulting company. He double majored in Finance and Marketing with a minor in Math. He considered working in academia for a while but ended up getting a job out of college for the money.

I'd say consulting really fits him well, because he never stays in one place for too long, gets to travel, and makes a crapload of money. He's really smart(I haven't met a stupid tested ENFP in my life...maybe I just haven't met enough), can play politics, and is really articulate, which are all good things to have in business.

My one confirmed ENFP friend works in the computing department of a university. He is very very good with people and does a lot of liaison with the faculty and trains them on using technology in the classroom. The guy can also fix pretty much anything when it comes to electronics.

My best friend is an ENFx (probably ENFJ), and she is about to graduate to be a teacher. i have another friend who I think is ENFP, and she is in culinary school. She is doing her rotations in different restaurants all around the country...heading to CT soon...

My ENFP (or maybe ENFT) friend is back to college after jumping between jobs and months of unemployment.
