Apache Warrior vs. Roman Gladiator

Apache Warrior - While the Gladiator focus on show and deploying dramatic deaths, the Apache's combat was more practical. Their weapons system was much more consistent and their stealth tactics are still employed by US special ops today.


River Tam (Firefly) vs. Cameron Phillips (Terminator: SCC)

Both Cameron and River are killing machines, but River is at a disadvantage because of her mental instability and the fact that she is a soft, squishy human. She does have the potential to be more clever, but I don't think that would be enough to secure victory.

China vs. the US (no nukes, since that would make it a very predictable fight)

China - Theres a lot of Chinese. A few of them know Kung Fu, "few" being a relative term. Maybe they're not as well trained but theres still a lot of them. They run more. They eat less. They eat weirder things that are still more healthy. Their kids are schooled better. Their economy is more efficient... but let's not turn this into a debate.


Rescue (Pepper Potts w/ Iron Man Suit) vs. Batgirl

Batgirl. First of all, Pepper always seemed to me a very two-dimensional character, and as soon as she put the suit on she began to lose her humanity, which is vital to most super heroines. Feel free to debate me on that, but she was never one of my favorite characters. Now, Batgirl (and I'm assuming here you're referring to Barbara Gordon) is clever, strong, well-trained, resourceful and more human. Given proper odds, Rescue in the suit vs Batgirl with her gadgets, I would have to go with Barbara.

X-Men versus the Justice League

Justice League - Unless the Phoenix comes out to play, the idea of even trying to beat Superman is just too silly. Kryptonite is also unavailable in the Marvel universe otherwise X-Men. The majority of the Justice League guys beat their Marvel counterparts pretty easily too in DC vs. Marvel. Superman vs. Hulk was fast as with Robin vs. Jubilee, Wonder Woman vs. Storm...
