Post a request here if you wish to have an avatar made.

I do not expect anything in return, except maybe a +rep or two. :D Just feel bored and I like photoshop, so...

Examples of some of my work.
ALSO: Do not post something beyond the bounds of photoshop. (Nothing that would take hours/day/weeks) Remember, I have only the pictures you give me. I cannot give you the front-facing shot of a rear-facing ass. (Donkey, not buttocks.)

Forum avatars have to be exactly 115 by 145 pixels with no borders, so 100x100 does not work.

I saved the picture. I knew it'd be deleted.
I don't quite understand your request. Do you wish me to make an avatar from that picture? Or add that picture onto your singing bird? If the latter, how do you wish me to do it? The dress hanging off of the circle? The bird in the dress (lol)?

I wanted the dress to be on the bird/bird in the dress, just for fun, sorry, I was giving you creative license. However, it looks like Minerva is cooking up something seriously formal, and she might not let me in with a bird head ;D so I'll just use the original avy. I'll hit you up next time I need some photoshop done.
Thanks!
Akzis,
it's maybe time for an avatar change - time for mine to change to where i'm going next - and i was wondering about your http://s170.photobucket.com/albums/u248/zariron/?action=view¤t=untitled-6.jpg&newest=1 work example. i like it, and it looks right enough, right now. care to share?

I most desire the jacket to be the color violet, and the swastika to be changed to the number 7. I'm contemplating a change on the armband color, but for now leave it as it is. Please leave the shirt and tie the current color. No resizing is necessary, I will find a way to crop out what I need. Thank you.

Oi! Can you do something with this? It's a RARE shot of Bucky without his customary show of distrust and hostility depicted by his ears being drawn low and against his head.
<--------- Like that.
Can you switch him so he's facing the posts?

Plus she's a whiny little slavedriver. You'll be helping her work on her patience issues.
Thanks.

Plus she's a whiny little slavedriver. You'll be helping her work on her patience issues.
Thanks.Akzis, I assure you reckful speaks both out of turn, and ignorance.
Firstly, I see from his "good buddy" that he assumes some type of, what I am sure is, falsified brotherhood with you, fashioned from nothing more than his jealous and selfish nature. Please inform him of our much deeper, sturdier relationship so that he may know without the gift of self delusion, whose friendship you appreciate more.
Secondly, he is mistaken, and so would you be, if you counted yourself my only Bucky avatar source. I've been wearing him long before you arrived; a fact, like so many others, that reckful now chooses to ignore since he seems under the blindly indulgent facade that your refusing to edit them would somehow strip me of their eventual making and subsequent use.
Thirdly, like any self-centred person, reckful seems under the illusion that his wants and desires, by the mere virtue of the fact that they exist and can be expressed, deserve attention, and more, adherence. Kindly disabuse him of this notion with a refusal to assist him in the continuation of such distasteful self absorption. You do him a disservice otherwise.
Lastly, cure his ignorance also, by informing him that the above is but a sample of the banter, a specific brand of communication forged between us that he has no capacity to understand. His unawareness in this regard is betrayed by the display of egocentrism and disregard for others his post so blatantly reveals.
It is easily seen, then, that his characterisations of "whiny", "slavedriver" and "impatient" above are but his own traits reflected outwards upon mere innocents such as myself. I trust that you will act accordingly in this matter and give reckful's suggestion the appropriate treatment it deserves.

Could someone please do an executive summary of the bum's post? I couldn't make it all the way to the end.
@Akzis --
Just as a reminder: SMB recently intruded with this greeting:
Hey... Retardo...
What can you do about this?
You, understandably, asked her for some guidance.
What do you want?
As if to say, "What are you? Stupid?" she replied with this:
*points to name of thread*
So, in the spirit of giving for which you're famous, you went ahead and used your own best judgment and avyfied her pic.
And was she grateful? Let's see:
Um. Ahem... what's the blue thing?
And I was kinda hoping you'd keep the shaded background.
It turns out she was "Kinda hoping you'd keep the shaded background." That's what she kinda hoped -- but could she be bothered to tell you that before you went to work? Could she be bothered nothwithstanding the fact that you went out of your way to ask her to tell you what she wanted?
It's people like SMB that give INTJs a bad name, you know what I'm saying?
Anyway, speaking as one of the good INTJs, and just as a reminder: No more Bucky avys until at least July, eh? No matter how much she hisses and spits.

@Akzis --
Just as a reminder: SMB recently intruded with this greeting:Again, you're unable to recognise an affectionate greeting between friends, probably because you've never given or received one.
You, understandably, asked her for some guidance.
As if to say, "What are you? Stupid?" she replied with this:Again, what you are not aware of could compete with the space taken up by your oversized ego. Akzis and I discussed the avatar in the chatroom and I clarified my request. I only posted here for the sake of continuity of conversation in the thread. I didn't want to make it seem as though I ignored his question. Therefore, I was being conscientious... something else you couldn't identify because of your non-existent relationship with it.
So, in the spirit of giving for which you're famous, you went ahead and used your own best judgment and avyfied her pic.
And was she grateful? Let's see:Again... *sigh*
Akzis deliberately fudged the avatar edit as some sort of gesture that the jobs I ask of him, far from being taxing, were not challenging enough. This only reveals yet again a certain gentleness and care in my nature that is glaringly foreign to yours.
It turns out she was "Kinda hoping you'd keep the shaded background." That's what she kinda hoped -- but could she be bothered to tell you that before you went to work? Could she be bothered nothwithstanding the fact that you went out of your way to ask her to tell you what she wanted?I'm not sure if you understand the meaning of "kinda"... I meant that it was an unimportant preference that I was loathe to request on top of my others. However, when he produced the edited version and it was clear further editing was necessary, I chose that opportunity to meekly express a small wish for the background to remain as close as it is in the original image.

Hi, Akzis, I'm not good with computer stuff. Help me get this image for my avatar and I'll send you a poem from one of my favorite poets.
It's Paul Signac's "Women at the Well." Here's the image; I'm not sure you can work on the one here but Signac's work should be on other sites all over the Internet.

The first link is dead, so it doesn't work. I was able to load the second one with this URL: http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/3854/signacwelltu.gif
You should save the image to your own computer and then load it from there, so you don't lose the avatar when the URL breaks. I saw that painting in Paris, nice choice.

Thanks for the help. Yay, it worked! That's neat you saw the painting in Paris. I just discovered Signac's work recently although I was familiar with Seurat. My other choice was Van Gogh's
Langlois Bridge at Arles:

I love the contrasting colors in Signac and this piece. If you like colorful art, check out the Japanese woodblock prints by Hasui. I want to get an original Hasui and it's not totally out there as they come as cheap as $200-300 but I've yet to convince myself to spend the funds.

Those Hasui prints are beautiful. I'm not crazy about really vibrant colors, the muted impressionists appeal to me rather than the post-impressionists like Gaugin. I spent a few afternoons on the top floor of the Musee d'Orsay on my last couple of trips to Paris. Viewing the paintings from different distances is almost like looking through a kaleidoscope, they change right in front of your eyes.
You probably like Degas, he favored bright colors and used them to great effect. Monet, Van Gogh, and Pissarro are probably my favorites.
