I wish to know if you can use a avatar of the same person, but of a different image.

Elaboration: I wanted a military leader avatar, but I noticed that all of the military leaders avatars are taken. Because of this, I wanted to know if I could still pick Napoleon Bonaparte, but a different image. I mainly want to hear from the adminstrators.

Speaking on behalf of the administration (NOT REALLY), the answer to your question is yes, you may. If you look at the forum's House, M.D. avatar gallery (http://intjforum.com/profile.php?do=editavatar&categoryid=117), you'll see that, from that source alone, there are currently multiple members using different pictures of the same person.

If you post the full-size version of the picture here, one or more volunteers are generally willing to step up and make it into an avy for you.

If the proportions of the pic you post are significantly different from avy proportions, you may want to offer some guidance as to how you want the picture cropped -- or you can leave it up to the volunteer photo-editors to make those choices for you.
