I'm not sure. I just know it was hard to decide with this list...and I combed the entire forum... it was hard to decide which one's to cut, but I found these to be the most disturbing initially, and on a long-term type of thing.
The first one I find rather creepy everytime I see a post, but after evaluating them all, I had to go with 13.... although 12 and 1 was a close second for me.
Glad I wasn't banned for this, and thx for fixing the images... and ... umm...glad there's interest

Darn, I realized just now that I had resurrected my dead linux server, brought it online, re-mapped the firewall, and left for the evening... I was temporarily using a different server, so the images should be fixed shortly.

I actually find Lights' avatar quite serenely beautiful. (Perhaps because I have positive associations with the story it's from: I, Robot.)
On what basis are people determining it to be "creepy"?

Ironically, a monkey giving me the finger isn't very creepy. Now if he were flinging a big gob of poop at that camera... that might be creepy.

I chose that one because it looks so ... fake. Its like a decapitated, fake cat's head. Almost like 1950's animatronics. Something about it seems unnaturally disturbing.
On what basis are people determining it to be "creepy"?
I think I find it creepy because it wants to be sooo human, but looks soooo unnatural. Not to mention that serene, yet disturbing look on its face....

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
That is true in many cases, but sometimes something is just flat out ugly.
I mean of course you can find beauty in the meaning behind certain things. Like my avatar of a great white shark, most people wouldn't consider it beautiful, but because they are my favorite animals and I have certain meaning attached to them, I really like it.

I think your avatar is tolerable to look at. I think the image of it looks kinda interesting too. That avatar where the angry-faced pear is raping the other pear is the most disturbing. Also Bad's balloon head always weirded me out too, I think he should've kept the Samuel L. Jackson one. The I robot robot isn't creepy at all, I kinda like the image.

Your chipmunk looks like it is deformed. Looking at it makes me think of those African babies with the cleft lips. Whenever I catch a glimpse of that image I have to quickly turn the page, I'm too repulsed.

Are you kidding? Great White Sharks are the most beautiful things on the planet. How can anyone not agree? People don't get why I like sharks, and I guess I don't either. It's just something about them is so captivating... :( Does no one find my avatar creepy?

Some people think the Shark's fin is more beautiful if you know what I mean.
I like dolphins better than sharks because they are likely to be nicer.
and no your avatar is not creepy, it's just stars, it won't be creepy until it includes extraterrestrials. My avatar has homework in it, maybe that'd be more creepier than stars.

Shark fin soup is delicious, but I refrain from them for their protection. Dolphins are not necessarily docile either. Have you seen dolphins trying to kill each other? Or attacking a porpoise? It's quite scary too. In fact, sharks hardly attack people; it was usually provoked or a mistake.
lol. I was joking on the creepy part.

Yes it is delicious, until my bro tells me about how it damages certain body functions and steals my bowl for himself.
Really? I haven't seen a dolphin attack yet, I always thought they were fun loving and affectionate. I need to look into that since all I've seen is them doing stunts and the occasional mathematics.
I know it was a joke, I guess my sarcasm has been getting rusty since I stopped seeing a certain group of funny high school buddies.

With INTJ it's hard to get when they're joking or not ;) People often take my sarcasm as what I really mean. I could refer you to some BBC videos of dolphin attacks, but to save myself the trouble, I'm just going to describe them. From movies, I've seen packs of male dolphins harassing and threatening a female dolphin with calf, attempted gang-rape on a female dolphin, pursuing a young calf, tossing dying porpoises into the air while snapping at it with their beaks. From those attacks, I think I can see some malicious intent as well, but it's not unexpected, given their level of intelligence. While sharks can attack humans, it's usually mistakes and/or they're very hungry (an instinct), but to think dolphins can attack maliciously is another story all together.
Ukrainian emergency workers saved a drunken swimmer in the Black Sea from an attack by a pod of killer dolphins who were trying to drown him.
Granted, wild dolphins are very different from the dolphins in aquariums. When I was eight, a couple of common dolphins pulled me along for a ride. They were so cute :lovestruck: One drew a picture using a brush and it was given to a little boy, who threw it away, strangely enough.

Yes I noticed that after talking for several hours with some. Maybe as a precautionary measure when all INTJs talk to each other we should say "should I take that literally, sarcastically or metaphorically?"

That's a very interesting concept that they'd have similar behaviours (even the malicious) as humans. Well then again intellect does not prevent any creature from doing something that can be considered cruel.
Sometimes I wonder if they function like humans. I think I heard somewhere if they had thumbs they could build a civilization, now that'd be even more interesting.
I saw a lot of documentaries during discovery shark week. They seem pretty curious and don't always attack. However they are pretty tricky, splitting up to catch the diver off guard. Plus sometimes they bite to check things out when they are curious.

Swimming drunk was already a bad idea. Maybe he did something to offend the dolphins.
Yes dolphins in the aquariums are trained to be better... but hey if someone fed me for life and all I had to do was math questions I'd be docile too (unless it was multivariable calculus).
I saw a documentary with a man who's a companion with a dolphin, every day he'd go diving at the same place at the beach and his dolphin friend would be there to go swimming with him. Now that's cool like having a best friend who isn't human.
What? Dolphins paint? :stunned: I haven't heard of that one. What a waste the boy threw it away, he could have ebayed it to a better owner.
You fell for it? The trick of your clever brother? Awwww. Well its harder to eat when someone tells you there might be toxins leftover from fish catching. Besides you don't want to waste expensive stuff in front of the family elders.
I don't know if he's clever but he sure is one weird INTP boy. Us two the weirdest guys in our extended family.
