Blonde Redhead, Sonic Youth, Silversun Pickups, UNKLE (which is about 50/50 rock)....I listen to mostly non-rock stuff now though

The Strokes, the Shins, Modest Mouse, Bright Eyes, Minus the Bear, Wilco, The Arcade Fire, and Defiance, Ohio are all great. There's other alternative/indie stuff I like, as well.

Shiny Toy Guns are great. If you like them and The Killers, look up "Innerpartysystem" - they're the next big thing, i'm convinced of it.

I haven't gotten to see them live yet, but I'm hoping to this summer. Based on clips I've seen, it looks like they put on a hell of a show.
