It seems that as my E goes up, my P goes up with it. Additionally, it seems that as my I goes up, my J goes up with it.

Not sure if this makes much sense -- hopefully people will know what I mean.

Yes, I agree, there does seem to be a bit of a correlation.

I suppose it's possible that when an introvert is alone, that tends to be the time that he makes his decisions, hence the J. And when he's surrounded by people, he can't even hear himself think, so decisions are left unmade. Of course, this is assuming that elevated extraversion makes you seek out social company and vice versa.

Yes similar with me E-J becomes more I-P if I am in more introspective mood.

For me it's exactly the other way around. When I become more E, I tend to behave more like an ENTJ; I will make and express decisions quickly, become very time-focussed, goal-oriented, etc. When I'm by myself, I tend to be much more laid-back and unscheduled.

J and P indicate how you tend to deal with the outer world. So, in principle an IJ should become more J when he's behaving more E.

It is the same for me. When I am around people, I am more goal-oriented and decisive. When I am reclusive, I just go with the flow and I don't care if things get done or not.

That would seem to make sense. I am more energetic around people and also get more done when I am in that mood.

This is exactly how it is for me. I use my J function a lot more when I'm with two or more people outside my immediate family. I become an axis of organization, control, strategy, and decision-making POWER.

...okay, it isn't that extreme.

But compared to when I am roaming around alone? It's significantly higher when I'm with people
