I've just finished reading an article called "Beyond Synchronicity: the Worldview of Carl Gustav Jung and Wolfgang Pauli" (Journal of Analytical Psychology, by Marialuisa Donati) and they explain how Jung and Pauli believed that "inorganic matter also possess[es] psychical components, even if these psychic elements are conceived as more primitive than those characterizing living beings". Synchronistic phenomena (e.g. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.), they argue, are then manifestations of these primitive psychic components.
When I read that one of the first things that came to mind was the fact that in some other thread quite a few INTJs (including myself) described how they sometimes apologise to objects when they bump into them. Just absent-mindedness or might it have something to do with this psychic component of matter and our strong Ni?
