What will become of Mexico ? Is the US doing enough about this growing threat ?

I'm interested to know why they were killed. There seems to be an abnormal amount of references to drugs and trafficking in the article, but what does that have to do with these murders? I doubt it will be made known what the motivations of the killers were; probably will also remain uncovered is the employment duties of those killed.

Until those questions are answered, I'll remain unbiased.

Like the US doesn't have growing threats of it's own ? If you wish to be fearful there's plenty going on domestically.

Why does the 'Mexico threat' in particular interest you to the point of implying it is something nationalistically note worthy ?

It is note worthy because of the thousands of drug-related deaths in the past couple of years near the US-Mexico border.

There is a major challenge for territory.

The government is trying to control the drug trade.

The US is pressuring Mexico to do something about the violence before it spills over onto US land (parts of the violence are already here in the major traffic cities)

Yes, the US is the customer and we need to fix that ourselves.

Mexico is a major supplier and they need to fix that because innocent people are dying just because they are in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The legitimate Mexican economy will also begin to suffer when those tourists from the US and all over the world go somewhere else to spend their vacation dollars.
