View Full Version : On the occasion of my avatar change...

So, I dutifully logged on this morning and accessed INTJforum (as is my morning routine at work, among other less enlightening things) and I discovered that my beloved bike-av was "broken", done in by the new rules. Being appropriatly chagrined, I sought out another rendition of my beloved red-orange beauty (no, no, my bike!) and came across this;

and thought, "Hey, I like that pic, I'll use it". But alas, I couldn't get it to upload (without betraying my non-productive computer activities).
So I browsed the avatar gallery and decided to become an alien.
So how's it look? Am I fearful and intimidating? Can I strike fear in the hearts of new (especially non-INTJ) posters? Should I stick with bikes?

Actually, it makes me think of a Teletubbie. It's a cool av, that's just what I first thought of. :/
(and this is my devil post #666)

Since I cannot abide being related in any way to the Teletubbies, and since I have cracked the "secret of the avatar" (it must be exactly 145 x 115 in dimension). I have elected to become a flying car instead.

What kind of bike is that in the original post, rwyatt?

It was all I could do to stop myself from trying to pick those things off your old avatar's face "You've got... there's a little ... a little higher.. here, I've got it" *licks kleenex and goes in for the kill* :yuck:

I regret having missed the alien av. At first I was a bit thrown off by the car, but the fact that it's red like the bike and a vehicle driven by an internal combustion engine helped to eventually identify you. because god forbid I actually read anybody's name

It kinda bugs me when people change their avatars.
I get so used to seeing an avatar to represent the general experience level of the poster, that when people change, it completely throws me off.
Camelopardalisis (sp? lol) to Antares,
Lucid from the black angel thing to the god, and especially rwyatt away from the bike (gasp!)

Why does everyone think it's a god?

Oh, sorry.
You must admit, it looks identical to a stylized Egyptian sarcophagus design.
Complete with a cobra on the headdress!

Oh I hadn't thought of that. Ok. I see your point.

Okay rwyatt. I couldn't get that image to work because it is so small and horizontal, which is hard to fit into a larger vertical frame. But here are some other Suzuki TL1000S bikes I found:

Yeah, I was gonna turn the original on it's side and resize it, but I thought, "Meh, why not just go all out for a 'new look'". I figured that the red color + engine-driven would be a giveaway.
Don't worry, kiddies, I'll keep this one for 2-3 months just like the last one - consider this my tribute to the beginning of the racing season(s).
Boo-ya!

You know, from the old picture I didn't realize what a good looking bike that is.

Sorry, but I had to be honest. I'd expect nothing less from you.
I like your new look, it suits you.
