newbie...avatar?

can't get my avatar working. tried uploads and urls, doesn't seem to be doing the trick. what's the deal?

I'm not sure. What happens when you make the attempt? Is the avatar 115x145 (http://intjforum.com/showthread.php?t=2840) pixels? If all else fails, there's an avatar gallery (http://intjforum.com/profile.php?do=editavatar) that you can select from if you like.

I was wondering about the pixel count--does it have to be precisely those dimensions? Or can it be less--as this is usually what I've found on forums.

I expereinced a similar thing (see here (http://intjforum.com/showthread.php?p=61062#post61062)). The av I was trying to use is 16K, but it still says "Invalid Avatar".

That image is 100x67 pixels. Avatars must be 115x145 pixels.

In addition to the avatar gallery linked above, there's an avatar subforum (http://intjforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32) where you can request (of other members) that an image be resized for a custom avatar if you aren't equipped to do so.
