Anyone get in? Anyone have a spare key?

I'm seriously flustered and disappointed that I didn't get in.

I didn't apply, but yeah this is great news. Reminds me though that I think Achron's multiplayer alpha may be out now...

No, its preorder alpha started in January, and the multiplayer part of the alpha started a few days ago.

The only Blizzard beta I made it into before open was for the Warcraft 3 expansion, and that was because a friend in high school somehow got two keys.

So far, my Blizzard luck is normal: nothing yet. Hoping I'll make it into a phase before open, but not really counting on it.

SC2 looks great, I'm betting they have another mega hit with sc2.

I've heard that so far the game balance seems to be very rushing focused and higher level (or even mid-level) units don't turn up in games very easily. Largely due to a weakness in defensive structures. Lots of games ending in 10 minutes.

I've also heard that instead of good use of a combination of units, just mass producing a single unit and sending it in with no support seems to be working pretty well as a tactic.

Base expansions are also generally not being seen much because of the speed of the games.
