Okay, here is a question... if you were offered the chance to receive exactly what you deserve for the rest of your life, would you take it?

By getting what you deserve, do you mean punishment or compensation? Or both?

Errr...who's the judge of what I deserve?

If I have to be the judge of myself i wouldn't accept.

What we deserve is completely subjective, so for me it completely depends on the criteria.

Yeah that question begs more explanation.

Without knowing who is the judge and what the criteria is, as others have suggested, it seems like a 'damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don't' scenario to me. If I said yes, I'd be going on the faith that I have been a good person and deserve positive rewards (possibly showing my arrogance)... If I say no, I'm acknoweldging that I've done enough wrong that someone else judging it would decide that what I deserve is a negative result... But by saying no, doesn't that mean that I acknowledge the wrong that I've done, therefore I am honest with myself and deserve a positive reward?... I guess if that were true, it wouldn't matter anyway because I would have already declined the prize.

We already do for the most part. Life is just life. I don't know if its about deserve or not, it is what it is. Its not fair ---- its not meant to be.

If I had to give a yes or no, I'd say yes, and wouldnt have to brace myself for any change.

I dont care who the judge is, theres no way i would except. No human is good, i dont care how pious or egotistical you are, sorry, we are all equal. The murder and the preacher, no one is better than anyone else. But then again, i can say it, its hard for an INTJ to live it ;).

If you mean along the lines of the Golden Rule, where people would treat me as I treat them, then YES! So few people understand my need for personal space and isolation.

Hehe, sorry... um... it's funny, I didn't think about those things when I read the question. I just thought, yeah, I'll take it! I didn't think of there being any subjectiveness to it... does that mean I assume that a moral absolute exists somewhere?

I thought it was intriguing because when I read the question, it was followed by the author's report that most people answer yes, which might imply that most people believe they've had a bum rap in life (have taken more hard knocks than they deserved) and thought that "evening the score" would improve things, not make their lives worse.

Apparently, most INTJs asked this question do not respond "yes," but "Can you be more specific?"

Those "most of the people would..." assumptions never worked very much on me. I guess it's a common trait here.

Nice try.
